**PLEASE READ ENTIRE DESCRIPTION BEFORE BOOKING**
The Carriage House is the ideal home base for those that are planning to spend more time in the great outdoors, rather than indoors. This petite studio suite offers simple living with the basic amenities.
While the Carriage House was added at a later date as a residence that was separate from the farmhouse, the farm itself and main barn, dates back to the late Civil War Era. It also sits along the John Hunt Morgan Heritage Trail, the route Confederate Brigadier General Morgan took during his raid on Southern OH.
With it's rolling pastures, it will be too easy to get lost in a daydream on the back patio.
The shared walking trails offer a quiet hike through the woods.
On the other side of the woods, you'll find a small seasonal pond.
And in the evenings, the fire ring is a great place to unwind and maybe catch a glimpse of the deer that frequent the pasture on the hillside.
Enjoy stargazing? The backyard offers a perfect place to view the night sky!
The Carriage House is also centrally located to everything the Hocking Hills region has to offer!

The place was clean, warm and ready for our stay. Amenities included stocked kitchen with pots, pans, plates etc. The heater and hot-tub was on and warm. Highly recommend!

Great stay!

Our stay here was great. Just what we needed after long days of hiking. It’s very clean and peaceful and came with everything we needed. We loved the hot tub in the evenings. The location was convenient and close to Nelson and Hope Lake State Park where we went after a hot day of hiking on Saturday. It’s a short drive to Logan where we went for dinner both nights.

The perfect calm getaway

The carriage house was so cute and the perfect size for an anniversary with hiking! We loved the trails on property with the mini "scavenger hunt" too!

Quiet and comfy

Perfect for a quiet restful getaway! Loved the hot tub and very comfy bed. Beautiful fields surrounding the cabin -- we really enjoyed watching the many butterflies on the wildflowers! Easy drive to Hocking for a day of hiking.

Great cabin and location to mountain biking at Lake Hope and Bailey’s. It had nice trails on property to walk our dog and enjoy the autumn colors. Morning coffee in the hot tub was the best!

Peaceful stay

We loved staying here - it was so peaceful, clean, welcoming, and private. We enjoyed the hot tub and the little camp fire. The bed was comfy and they had a great selection of movies! It was a great little getaway. There was no signal for us, but staying in a place like this, we wanted to be unreachable anyway. Only about 20 mins to Hocking Hills!

Adorable couple's cottage!

We loved the quaint comfort of this cabin! The location is centrally located to all attractions and easy to get to. The bed is super comfortable... The property is beautiful with lots of nice walking trails to explore. The only negative thing was the extremely small shower! Also, bring extra foresters if you come in the colder months!

Quaint and Beautiful

This quaint, little cabin was just what my boyfriend (now fiancé!! :-D) needed for our weekend trip to Hocking Hills. Ash Cave, Cedar Falls, and Old Man's Cave are must-sees for all visitors! The hot tub was a welcome addition to help relax after long hikes. We even had a few deer visit us while we were relaxing!

Cute Weekend Getaway

Perfect, small apartment for a couple. The views were amazing. We saw deer every morning in the backyard. The property was well-maintained, clean, and felt safe. The hot tub was amazing. Easy access to the Nelsonville and Logan areas.

Perfect Set Up & Location

The Carriage House is a super cute gem in the Hocking Hills. We truly had everything we need, but please note that there is no wifi and I missed that detail when booking. The space is cute, clean and has a great location. Nick and Shannon provide everything you could need and the hot tub is the perfect way to end every night after hiking and sightseeing. I highly recommend this space for your visit to Hocking Hills :)

The carriage house was amazing! Clean and as described. The property is also beautiful with plenty to explore. The hot tub and fire pit are nice touches. If you’re looking for a nice, quite get away that won’t break the bank, this is it!
