Tupelo - Hand hewn private log cabin with views

Appalachian style hand-hewn log cabin in beautiful Hocking Hills. Located on a private ridge top with spectacular views and ultimate privacy. This unit sleeps up to six with three queen beds, one in first floor bedroom and two in the loft area.

Municipal water (not well water)!!

Well behaved pets are welcome but require an additional pet fee per reservation that will need to be selected when you make your reservation.

The three cabins are nestled on a 1/4 mile long ridge top on an 80 acre wooded property. Guests are encouraged to explore the ridge top and to take advantage of the common fire pit at the end of the ridge with a fantastic view. Each cabin also has its own private fire pit which is stocked with split firewood.

Our cabins have been built and inspected by commercial standards as required by the State of Ohio. Have peace of mind knowing your family's safety is a number one concern of ours.

Wonderful Extended Weekend!

The cabin was so well-appointed with great amenities for cooking, super-comfortable beds and bedding, a million towels, and a set of towels, food bowls, and treats for our dogs. We loved the seclusion of the property being surrounded by the peaceful woods and the rustic cabin feel . Very nice new cabin in the woods. Private setting with two other cabins on property but very far apart so you can’t even see them. Mini Spring Break to Hocking Hills

We knew we wanted a great little cabin for our family vaca and this one was PERFECT! The isolation, beautiful cabin, amenities that were top notch, comfortable blankets, pillows and towels, hot tub and games helped make the stay wonderful! Each day we came home from hiking, relaxed and made dinner and just enjoyed time together! Only downfall was the price increase for more than two people to stay there when it shows it sleeps 6. Otherwise we hope to be back and will share about this cabin to our friends!

Great place to hideaway in Hocking Hills!

What a great place to hideaway for a few days, and honestly we wish we could have stayed longer. The owners have really thought of everything - they even had a treat ready for our dog. The cabin has plenty of towels (for shower and hot tub), games, puzzles, phone chargers, and even some condiments in the fridge! We will definitely be back!

Wonderful Cabin -- Great Location

My wife and three daughters and two dogs had a fantastic short weekend stay at the Tupelo Cabin. Everything we needed was on the property -- there was a fire pit, cornhole set, grill (with charcoal included!), and a hot tub. The Cabin (which looks brand new) was immaculate and very comfortable. I enjoyed sitting on the porch on the rocking chair with my coffee in the morning. The beds were comfortable as well. We appreciated the dog snacks and tennis ball for our pooches. The Cabin is very convenient to Hocking Hills -- only a 10-15 minute drive. We definitely will consider coming back in the future -- thank you!

All of the other reviews are correct - The cabin was spotless and looked brand new. There are bath towels, hot tub towels, and kitchen towels provided. There were q-tips in the bathroom, charcoal next to the grill, dry firewood and kindling. There are only three cabins on 90 acres so we felt very secluded and private, yet major chain stores are only 8 minutes away in Logan. The driveway winds about 300 yards up to the top of the ridge and is gravel. It is very well maintained and shouldn't be a problem for any vehicle during the non-winter months. We were very pleased with the quality, location, and privacy of the cabin.

I can not say enough about how beautiful and comfortable this cabin is. When I walked into the cabin the first thing I noticed was the smell of freshly cut timber. Highlights include: *Wifi works great *We had phone service (Verizon) *Free YouTube and Netflix (but we did not use them) *The Ridge--turn right outside the cabin driveway for a breathtaking view *Conveniently located to Logan for groceries and restaurants *Easy to follow instructions for hot tub, fireplace and heat *Very private *Very comfortable bed *Fresh supply of towels and linens *Great place to bring your dog! *Pizza Crossing pizza is the BEST! *Close enough to Hocking Hills hiking and sights *Check out the John Glenn Astronomy Park--very cool! *Scan the QR codes to hear charming stories about the cabin. You won’t be disappointed!

Exceptional time staying at the Tupelo cabin! This was a surprise birthday trip for my husband and he absolutely loved it. We brought along our two pugs, our cat with special needs, and our 3mo son. This cabin is simply wow — the pictures don’t do it justice. From the moment we walked in and noticed the food and water bowls for our pets, I knew I had made a great choice. The beds are so comfortable, there isn’t a shortage of anything you might need, and the surrounding property is breath taking. As so many others stated, the cabin is gorgeous and so clean. We didn’t get a chance to sit by the fire pit outside, but the hot tub was wonderful. We also cooked hamburgers on the grill, which was a delight. Unfortunately, we had really bad luck with the local pizza joint everyone raves about and would NOT recommend it. If you’re visiting to hike, we highly recommend Old Man’s Cave and The Rock House. Ash Cave and Cedar Falls are also great and if you want a legit hike, check out Conkle’s Hollow. The bathroom is spacious and the shower is nice. The place feels like home away from home with the perfect cozy cabin feeling. Highly recommend. We will be back.
