「A fantastic gem of a property in a wonderful location. Great for a stop on our journey home from the South of France but it would be a super place to stay to explore the surrounding area. 」

「Booked this hotel to break up the journey down to the alps. Really nice location with stunning courtyard setting perfect for an evening meal. The village itself is beautiful with some great history from the Great War. Will definitely book again. 」

「A stopover in the heart of the ancient town of Laon. Beautiful location in the old square facing the magnificent cathedral. Charming and friendly staff welcomed us and explained parking which was locked and a short walk. Able to unload outside Logis. Room charming and very comfortable while keeping it quaintness. Very nice restaurant and had delicious dinner and breakfast」

「Accueil très sympathique de la part du gérant, établissement simple mais très fonctionnel et propre, literie confortable (seule la douche mériterait d'être un peu plus grande dans la chambre que j'avais mais qui était une chambre simple). L'établissement propose un service de restauration avec une carte alléchante (que je n'ai malheureusement pas pu tester). Pour résumer mon court séjour : on se croirait à la maison !」

The owner was nearby but not intrusive - he was very friendly and kind and we were lucky enough to meet his lovely daughter, who has excellent English - such a help!The area was lovely too - we went on a lovely walk near the Lake. 「Excellent location in Laon. Husband and wife staff were extremely friendly and helpfull. We'd hoped to dine on site for our evening meal. Their restaurant was closed and they found us an alternative restaurant and made a dinner reservation for us. I was recovering from a cold and the owner prepared me a hot lemon honey and ginger drink to have before I went to bed. Even made me one the following morning. To some the hotel may feel dated, but out group of 8 loved the sense of history the hotel...
