Needs a deep cleaning
This apartment is in a good location in north Atlanta. The owner is really responsive and generally affable. We asked for early checkin and were accommodated easily. But this place needs a thorough cleaning and the door jamb needs to be fixed. The apartment smells like car freshener. There were hairs in the bed and in the shower which were not ours. The shower has a thick film on the soap dish, etc, and is dirty. There was debris and something spilled on the kitchen floor. Glasses were stuck to the cupboard shelves and there is old food in the cabinets and fridge, empty drink bottles under the bed. The dishwasher has some weird debris in it, and the cupboard where I eventually found the dustpan is really dirty. The carpet is really dingy and there is dirt in the corners. It was hard to relax in this apartment because it wasn't clean at all.

Great location, easy to confuse with the other apartments in the area so be sure to follow host's directions exactly. Also, the gym requires a card to get in so it's not available for a guest unless a member lets you in.
