Not As Expected
First let me say, regardless of response to this review, we took over 100 pictures to prove what we are about to say. Our overall impression of this property was not as advertised. Donna is a very pleasant person, however asked us to do booking outside of someway, warning do not do this as you do not have insurance against properties that are not as advertised...such as this one. The house is large and did host our family, however the pool house is uninhabitable, the home is in disrepair. The rooms are not as pictured. The mattresses smelled of urine in the double bed girls room on hot days if the AC was off. The kitchen faucet was broken and needed to be replaced. However instead of replacing they tries to repair several times until we complained enough. The garbage took days to get picked up. The playground was unsafe for children and could not be used. The pool was as advertised yet when owner called to be advised it needed to be cleaned we were told to take care of putting chemicals in with no way of testing water. Sauna does not work. Plugs was removed to be utilized for washer and dryer in mud room. We finally found out after several requests to have turned on. The pool is not heated as told. Even the repair company could not get the heater working. The downstairs smelled of mold and nothing worked in the game room. Air hockey table was broken, bounce house for kids was ripped. Nothing is kept up period. Screens were ripped, forcing us to keep AC on at all times and several of us came down with respiratory illnesses mysteriously two days after arrival. The walls in the kitchen showed severe water leakage in one corner. The great room couch is old and not leather any longer. There were mice in the house. The light switches in some rooms not even attached to walls and wires can be seen. Cable only works in two rooms, not master bedroom or didn't when we got there. I am writing this review for my mom and dad. As their eldest daughter, I have never seen such deplorable misrepresentation of a property. My father has Stage 4 Brain Cancer and we had the whole family going to spend some much needed downtime with my father, and upon seeing a bad review, we contacted the owner before going and she assured us it was a customer that was just unpleasant. WRONG! The owner is misrepresenting this property. It has not been kept up at all. Maybe improvements are being made but do not fall for the scam. We ended up having to leave and go stay in a hotel in AC!
