“Our host was quick and helpful with questions before we arrived (condition of roads, plowed driveway, specific directions). The cabin was warm and clean (it was -12 degrees outside when we arrived), the hot tub was hot and accessible, all the snow was plowed/shoveled in the drive and up to the doors. It was a perfect last minute weekend getaway even if it was frigid outside. We loved having the hot tub and fireplace. Only minor complaint is we had trouble getting the wood that is available……

“This was a last minute weekend in Oct stay! I am so glad we found EXPLORE and they had availability!! We stayed in a studio cabin. We did not use any of the provided appliances so I cannot comment on those. Place was clean! Comfortable! Shower was perfect after a long day or two of hikes! There are a couple of trails on property which came in handy after our long drive up first day ! Will stay here again !!!!”

“We had a great stay! Location was awesome. Entertainment and restaurants were within a block or two. Hiked Pictured Rocks as well as did the Sunset Cruise. “Very close to Pictured Rocks and the trails on site are fun to explore too. Very easy access to cabin and info about nearby sites/restaurants with texts, emails, even phone call from the property. Stayed in the 4 person cabin but just had 1 adult, 2 kids. The pullout couch is good for kids but not sure I’d say it’d be good for adults. Would also say they need a different shower curtain to keep the water from escaping the side of the shower. Overall, great stay. Would recommend and return……
