Summary:
Set above Palm Beach with wide sea views, Island View combines a short walk to the beach with sunny decks, spacious open-plan living and flexible accommodation for families and friends. Surrounded by native bush, the three-bedroom, three-bathroom home sleeps up to six adults and two children, with a wood fire for winter stays and air conditioning for summer.
The Space:
Island View sits in an elevated position above Palm Beach, with wide sea views, native bush surrounds and decks that catch the sun throughout the day.
The main living level is open plan, bringing together the lounge, dining area and full kitchen in one bright, connected space. Large doors open directly onto a generous deck overlooking Palm Beach, making the view and outdoor living a central part of the stay. There is plenty of room for shared meals, relaxed afternoons outside or evenings back at the house after the beach.
A wood-burning fire provides warmth through the cooler months, while air conditioning keeps the home comfortable during summer.
The three bedrooms are arranged across the upper and lower levels, giving families and groups some separation.
The super-king bedroom is upstairs and has its own bathroom along with ocean glimpses. Downstairs are a king bedroom and a third bedroom with two single beds plus two trundles. The trundles provide additional sleeping for children, allowing the home to accommodate a maximum of six adults and two children.
With three bathrooms in total, the layout works particularly well for larger families or friends travelling together.
Outdoor space wraps around the house, with several deck areas positioned among the native bush and catching the sun at different times of day. A pergola provides another place to settle in outside, while Palm Beach is only a short walk away.
