Great location. Apartment 54 was spacious, warm and well set-up with facilities. Only thing we would have liked is more seamless parking arrangements. We discovered that weekend parking is readily available immediately outside the building for $24 per night (12hrs).

A fabulous find
This was a fantastic place stay. The apartment and all the amenities were wonderful. We enjoyed watching the morning activities, and the sunset/city lights in the evening, from the inviting deck. The location was perfect for all of our city exploration. I would recommend a stay at this location to anyone headed to Auckland.

Greatest location close to everything. Our contact was fantastic and did a lot of little extras that just made our day several times over. The unit is a bit in need of some sprucing up but good to go anytime.

Enjoyed central location, security, quiet rooms, great layout and facilities of apartment, Communication with the apartment owner was fantastic, and easy access to the waterfront facilities. Disappointing ( not the owners fault). If there is no available parking when booking, (we'd hoped to leave the car inhouse and use the city busses or walk). The alternative parking around the accommodation was Wilson Parking. This was so costly and a nightmare to deal with when on/off loading luggage. Auckland BCD has been taken over by roadworks, closed roads replaced by detours away from the car parks. Not knowing the area, we ended up miles from the accommodation.

This apartment is in a convenient location if you just get off a cruise as we did. The apartment is really a studio and would obviously be very hot if it were the height of summer although there is air conditioning (basic). The place is tired - needs a little revamp on furniture and fittings, but it served a purpose. The owner was very helpful with instructions on how to get in - which is complicated and we saw others in the block also having difficulty. There is a lift which is good if you have luggage.Unfortunately there is a lot of work going on in Auckland and around the harbour and the noise was at times unbearable. The place is very overpriced for what it was - the most expensive we paid in all of New Zealand, and one of the most basic

Thank you very much for the review. Downtown Auckland is at a stage of transformation; subway, big mall, refurbished roads etc. are underway to be open to public. Auckland city especially the water front of Auckland where Prices Wharf will present a fantastic new look to local people as well as to guests from all over the world soon.

Excellent location for dining and entertainment as well as for cruise ship docking. Host very accomodating and let us leave our suitcases in apartment extra time after the checkout. Luxury place well stocked with everything you could possibly need. Even welcome box of chocolates. Host easy and quick to communicate. Lovely apartment close to Hilton on wharf.

Sparkling clean and spacious luxuary apartment. Ideal location for seeing city and Cuba St for restaurants. Convenient for cruise ship dock. Host very accommodating and easy to contact. Let us leave our suitcases in apartment for a late checkout. Highly recommend this property. Well stocked with everything even a welcome box of chocolates.

Cruise ships block view and are noisy with fumes
On the positive, great location for Britomart, Viaduct Harbour and the ferries. The apartment itself was also a good size and well-equipped, although one of the sun lounger's was broken. Less positively, it's on a pier that is used for cruise ships so, for most of the time, the only view you have is the solid mass of the side of a cruise ship 15 metres away. Fumes from the funnel come straight down into the apartment, the ship's generator is noisy as they are on 24 hours a day and passengers can see straight into the apartment.

We would like to say a big thank you again to all our guests, especially who have stayed in this apartment during the time a cruise docked at Princes Wharf. We really appreciate your patience and supports. Concerned future guests can check out the cruise sheduldes on Ports of Auckland's website: poal.co.nz. Details e.g. vessel name, docking wharf, arriving & departing time etc. can be found. One year’s schedule is advised on the site. Cruises come to Auckland normally dock at Queens Wharf ( & won't affect the view of Princes Wharf apartments); however a few times in busy summer season, Princes Wharf hosts some cruises too. Cruise normally arrives in the morning, leaves in late afternoon/ early evening. We do find most passengers would hop off the cruise, do something in Auckland downtown city, or even take ferry to nearby island for a day trip.

First trip to New Zealand
On our first trip to New Zealand we stayed in Auckland for four nights to get over jet lag. It was great having an apartment. However when the huge cruise ships came in the area was chaotic. The apartment was large and having a washer/ dryer was a plus!!!

Excellent size. Great amenities. Good parking although suited to a smaller car. Check in was not easy as greeter had poor english and understanding them was difficult. Otherwise we will use this property again

This property was located at Shed 23 directly opposite the wharf that our crews ship docked, perfect. It had a comfortable queen bed a enormous balcony, a wonderful kitchen and generally well set up to be self contained. A stove large fridge, microwave dishwasher in kitchen. A bathroom laundry with a great washing machine and dryer. Priced right for the area

Location location location
Apartment had everything needed but is getting a bit tired. Very uncomfortable lounge seating area, carpets could do with a clean but overall was well equipped. The location is just excellent. So blues to quality restaurants and the pier to catch ferries for many day trips available.

Loved the apartment and location, our only complaint was that we booked and paid for a harbour view sea facing appartment and we were placed in one overlooking the Hilton Hotel - not harbour view or sea facing

Lovely location with good views of the harbour. Handy location for the city. Washing machine and dryer. Well appointed kitchen. Thoughtful accesseries like books ,games,chocolates,breakfast cereal, tea,coffee,milk and bottled water. Free parking available on arrangement. Good security.

A perfectly positioned property to explore the Habour area and try out your eatery of choice. ....A Clean , comfortable and lovely decorated unit with everything you need. Excellent communication and help from the host. This apartment was exceptional. On waterfront in centre of Auckland. Close to ferry and metro and bus interchange. Free parking. Large modern apartment with internal laundry.

We had a pleasant stay.The apartment was spacious, good location on a wharf, near the ferries.The room was well furnished with kitchen apparel, fridge, oven, washing machines and amenities. The lady, Laura, who attended the apartment was very charming and helpful.

Perfect downtown location
Very nice apartment. Excellent location downtown by the water with a huge selection of restaurants close by. Convenient with parking in same building and excellent communication with staff. Will definitely stay here next time I come to Auckland.

Overall good but the harbour pic was misleading
The apartment is good and in very convenient location. The only compliant I have is the photo used on hotelS.com is misleading. There is no direct harbour view when I view outside of my flat. I had to turn an angle before I saw a partial harbour view. I would suggest you change to a different picture.

If the apartment has partial sea view, it will be advised in the listing; also photos of the apartment shows all areas including the view. We try our best to disclose the features of each apartment; and ensure our guests book the apartment that suits best, so that they will enjoy the stay to the most :) Hope this helps with future reservations :)

Great apartment, service and stunning views
Excellent apartment to stay in and great service & support from Laura. Spacious, well-appointed and within easy access of both the wharves and the centre of Auckland, this is a great place to watch the world go by and explore the city. Overlooks Queens wharf to the East, so sunrise, ferries and other activities are all possible. Would go back here anytime!

Superb location right on the Wharf!
This fully equipped apartment is located on Princes Wharf overlooking the Harbor where the ferries come in. We were met by Laura who escorted us to the apartment and familiarized us with everything. She was very helpful with her prior emails and instructions. The apartment has a balcony with great lounge chairs, and table with chairs. Great for outdoor entertainment and eating. Comfortable bed and fully equipped kitchen. It even had a washer and dryer. The interior is modern decor. The apartment was very quiet and had security entrances that you would enter electronically with your own key. Great place. I could live there! Thank you Laura for accommodating us with early check in and late departure.
