A perfect romantic getaway

Peaceful, lovely house with amazing views
Everything was perfect- we enjoyed the great sea views in the daytime and the outside spa at night. The house was spacious, light filled and very well equipped. The car is a huge bonus for exploring beyond the lovely local area. Peter was a very friendly and responsive host. Thank you for the stay!

Fabulous property in Onetangi
As you can see by the photos, the view is amazing, and it is better in person. Peter was an amazing host, answering questions on a moments notice. I would recommend this rental to everyone I know.

Great place to stay on Waiheke
This is a great place to stay, it's away from the bustle of Oneroa yet close enough to everything. Having a car included is a big plus. The place itself is stunning, with a great view of the water. The laundry facilities work great, and there's two drying racks (I wish more places had two!). The shower was hot. The bed was firm and comfortable. There's a separate a/c unit in the bedroom which we liked. The water is filtered but it's recommended to drink bottled water; there's a Four Square about a five minute drive away that sells 5L waters. We loved our stay here and would stay again

We had a lovely time on the island with our sister and brother-in-law driving around the island doesn't take very long but you have to keep your eyes on the narrow roads. The house was lovely with a great view, it would be even better in the summer.

We stayed here while doing work on the island. Beautiful bushy spot and to be honest the best equipped kitchen I've seen in a bach. It even had sharp knives!

Queens birthday weekend

Fantastic place
This place was amazing to stay, the use of the car was so helpful so we didn’t have to rely on buses. You are about a 25-30 mins walking distance to Charley Farleys and vineyards like Wild on Waiheke/Stonyridge. The views out to the sea are amazing, the spa to use at the end of a long day is brilliant. Peter was so great at answering questions and communicating about check in and out. We would go back in a heartbeat and would highly recommend!

This was a lovely stay thank you! the house had everything we needed, complete with a car and a spa which was awesome in the evenings. the property is super private, tucked away in beautiful native bush and overlooking the ocean. Waiheke itself is a wonderful location. We went to some of the nearby wineries (Obsidian and Casita Miro) which we absolutely rated. Would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a lovely little getaway. We will be back! :-)

Island Dream
Great communication with Peter along every step of the way. Arrival was straightforward from the chats we’d had prior to the stay and to the instructions your sent leading up to it. D Zone is the furthest carpark away where the rental car is waiting for you. It’s not that well sign posted and it doesn’t ring a bell to most locals when you ask, so just keep following your nose. It was incredibly convenient to have the vehicle come with the house. We didn’t pack light so was very lucky with how spacious the SUV was. The bach itself was a beautiful, comfortable, warm house. It has a full open planned kitchen, perfect for having the option of making your own food (especially on lazy sun filled mornings). Comfy bed & chairs in all the living spaces & something you need to have on Waiheke - Your own private spa! It was central to every activity we did while on the island and only a $20 taxi away from a bit of night life down the road (Charlie Farleys & Stoneyridge). Don’t leave it too late though! 10pm seems to be the shut down time. This was quite surprising to us for a Saturday night. Live it up during the day and afternoon friends - It’s the Waiheke way. We were lucky enough to have the best weather as well. So my tropical island birthday wish came true! Thanks again :)

Large, comfy, clean space with gorgeous views (and we were lucky enough to see kaka for the first time from the deck). The spa was lovely and the property is private and surrounded by bush. Host was very friendly and communication by email helpful and informative. The only downside was noise from construction nearby during the week, DIY-ers on the weekend, and traffic from the road below. You do need to drive to get anywhere but there’s a reserve further up the road that’s walkable with incredible views.

Beautiful cozy cottage nestled amongst the trees, amazing views of the ocean. Everything we needed was available. Spa Bath conveniently located that you still have views of the ocean during the day and can stargaze in the evening (when it is not cloudy) Really enjoyed the stay.

Peaceful retreat with stunning sea views
Comfortable and modern cabin in the trees with breathtaking views of the sea. Tui songs enhance the experience. Be prepared for a bit of a climb, but the house and the view are worth it.

What an amazing property! Fantastic location for exploring the island, walking distance to Onetangi, the beach and its great cafes. The cottage is set in an amazing bush setting with views across Onetangi and out to Great Barrier Island. It has everything needed for a fabulous, relaxing stay and the bonus of the use of the car is fantastic. The hot tub is great following a day of exploring the island and the deck a beautiful place to sit and chill.

Absolutely loved everything about this trip and this house . The instructions for the car and the house were easy to follow and we had everything we needed plus some . Didn’t even care about the winter weather because we had a lovely warm house , spa , blankets on the couch and hot chocolates to enjoy with a good book.

Private little gem indeed.
This cottage was an absolute great find. Situated in an elevated private setting surrounded by palms and bush and a beautiful seaview, we could not have asked for better. The spa pool was just lovely and the inside of the home just so tasteful and with everything you need and more. The fact that we got a car a part of our package was a real bonus. We will certainly be back indeed.
