What can you not say about the Archer in Austin Texas. This is my second time staying at this property and it does not disappoint. From the staff to the facility, everyone on staff acknowledged your presence politely and welcoming. The property was sold out the three night I was there the only time you could tell the hotel was that busy was in the lobby and restaurant/bar, and beside the typical sound of a door closing that you get in any hotel I had no clue it was that busy. I stayed at the property for the first time 6 years ago and it became my go to hotel when I'm visiting family in the Austin area. If the hotel property doesn't convince you to stay, the surrounding area will tip the scales, high end retail, and dining, night life with plenty to do in your spare time.

While I thoroughly liked the property, the toilet seat had been left in a state of disrepair. I fixed it myself, as it was discovered on a Friday evening. Other than the minor disrepair, I enjoyed the property.

Parking is on 3rd floor in parking garage across the street. Old rooms, dirty looking bathroom floors and carpets. Bed and pillows are uncomfortable. AC was set at 65, but did not cool adequately, still felt too hot in room. Didnt notice that the bed sheets were dirty from old lipstick(wife doesn't wear lipstick) until we were leaving. Gross. Only good thing about hotel was the location.

The valet was incredibly helpful and respectful. I stay here for my safety as a single woman. I came to ATX for a grand opening of Blindside Lounge on 6th street. Check in wasn’t the best because I let them know there’s travel insurance for only three people and not four. I probably needed to let Expedia know but I read the paper the lady asked me to sign and to change that number I apparently had to add name of these individuals onto the reservation. I prefer to remain anonymous of my family and friends while traveling. Also the people at the front desk don’t need to interrupt a conversation. I understand y’all are busy but let me finish my sentence.

Awesome minus the fireplace
This hotel is amazing. Probably the nicest hotel I’ve been too. The only issue was we upgraded so we could have a fireplace in the balcony, and ours didn’t work at first. We called maintenance, and after 20 minutes they got it working, or so we thought. It would turn itself on and off ever 30 minutes. The upgrade fee was $125, pretty disappointed that they only took $50 off for this issue since it was the reason we decided to upgrade.

Primera vez que nos hospedamos en el norte de Austin y definitivamente lo volveremos a hacer en este hotel siempre que vayamos a Austin. Todo el personal es muy amable y te ayudan con cualquier cosa. Las instalaciones son completamente nuevas por lo que no tienen un solo defecto. Lo que mas nos gusto fue la ubicacion ya que al estar en The Domain tienes acceso a todo a solo unos pasos. Disfrutamos de la comida, las compras, las areas de esparcimiento. Los chavos del valet siempre disponibles y te da la.confianza de dejar tus cosas con toda seguridad debido a la zona donde esta ubicado el hotel.

Relaxing stay cation at the Domain - Archer style
Stayed at Archer Hotel for a stay-cation. It was wonderful. Welcoming foyer and staff. The valet guys very helpful. Easy in and out. Domain is very walkable - so didn't need the car much. The hotel was lovely - well located - offerred good amenities - free wifi - infused water downstairs - coffee selection in room. We got a room with a balcony which was nice to put your feet up and enjoy people watching below. Close to so many restaurants and stores. Very relaxing - super comfy bed and great hot water shower!

This is our first stay at The Archer Hotel. We have stayed in the Domain area a handful of times but have never actually stayed in the Domain shopping center. This place was perfect due to the proximity to shopping/dining and easy access to the highways. This place did not disappoint. The staff was extremely attentive and courteous. Rooms were clean and the atmosphere was just what we were looking for. It is located right next to Nordstrom and walkable to many stores/restaurants if you are not looking to drive out. This sure beats the traffic staying downtown. Will definitely book this place again!
