Hotel was very nice. Staff was a bit…snobby at times. AC in the rooms would not stay on and led to a hot, uncomfortable sleep, especially with the heavy down comforters. The city is full of construction, especially in the area around the hotel.
Overall a nice facility, with some blemishes with service and comfortability

Expedia needs to update their information about this hotel. I was surprised when I got there and asked me to pay $200 for a deposit ($100/night) while Expedia told me that I just need to pay $82 at the property.
Overall it’s a beautiful and great place, I had a corner room with a champagne as complementary 😍😍.
Thanks for Fairmont Teams it has been a great experience for me and my wife❤️

I thought the mandatory charge for services was a low class ploy to draw additional money from guests. Also the valet charge was excessive in relation to similar hotels. I would rather spend more up front and avoid the feeling that these charges give me. This property was nice enough, but for these reasons I would not return.

Front desk staff was unaware of guest services during checkin, I was misinformed that was included in my bookings online; that I specifically inquired about. Didn’t find out till checkout, that I did indeed have the services; the checkout person was the same as the check in person, she was courteous but very incompetent.

While the property made efforts to provide us a room that was wheelchair accessible, its main doors are not accessible for people who use a wheelchair or may have other disabilities. Someone had to be around to open the door for my mother who was in a wheelchair, every time we went in or out! For a 4 star hotel to not have automatic doors is disappointing!

Wonderful stay and property was very nice. The staff was amazing from the first impression to our last. We had a couple issues when we got to our room where the TV didn’t work and the goodies hadn’t been replaced from the previous person staying in the room but the staff cleared it up fast. Just wasn’t the 5 star we would expect but everyone was great to take care of it. Overall, it was great and we will be back. Lots of construction around downtown and the hotel but it didn’t become an issue at all.

I'd like to think the hotel would be better prepared when a massive conference is coming into town to better serve their check in needs. I was not part of the conference but was greatly impacted by the hotels inability to handle the sheer volume of guests. Otherwise, great stay aside from all the construction around the property...

Overall the property was nice, however there were several hiccups during my stay. The shower wasn’t working properly and the temperature would go from scalding hot to freezing cold making it very difficult to actually shower. In addition to that, I ordered room service that never came and I was charged. The service at the pool was slow and they do not allow for outside food or beverage even going so far as to check pool bags of guests. The hotel itself was clean and the check in staff was friendly, but there were several aspects that were. It up to par considering the money spent on the experience

I loved our experience in Austin and the Fairmont was a great hotel. The pool was great and I liked what was available at the hotel. We only ate lunch there on our last day but we heard that the dinner was really good. I liked the good things store, it was good for coffee and breakfast and the lunch looked good. The only things I didn't like about the area was all the construction and feeling like it wasn't safe to walk in certain nearby areas.
