Price was ok, for the available amenities. Staff was nice. Small flies and small roach in sink area, Window was broken, but only on inside pane. Bed was good but furniture was nothing to brag about. Good location for area and close to my daughter’s house, is main reason I choice it. Wasn’t my first colce, but the other hotels were booked. Might stay there again, if only option at the time.

Do not stay here ever. Entire room was not cleaned in months. Dead bugs, sticky carpet, not clean sheets. All rooms smelled like smoke and cat pee. Half the lights didn't work, unsafe and disgusting.

The AC in my room didn't work and it took 3 days to get it fixed. The breakfast was abysmal and my remote for my TV was taped together. I cannot recommend this hotel.

I've visited Buda somewhat frequently in the past 5 years as my daughter and her family live nearby in Austin. As such I have stayed at most of the facilities in the neighborhood of Cabella's and in fact I have visited Microtel twice. What is unique about is Microtel is the price, (low). Also of note, with the exception of a decent breakfast, a fairly Spartan level of amenities. Personally I don't mind paying more for a higher level, a little more and a little higher, but Microtel offers the basics at the lowest rate which is well suited to out of town tradesmen and others on business.

The staff was super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was decent, nothing that stands out. Snacks and water is available for purchase at the front desk. Amenities are available upon request, like an iron. The room with 2 beds that we stayed in had no closets, just hooks for hanging.

Please do not book here. They have roaches. Our room was full of roaches, including my daughters bed, AC was leaking as well. I will say, the staff is very nice. They did end up moving us to a different room but it was an unpleasant experience.
