Come enjoy a peaceful and scenic vacation minutes from the Alabama river on Swift Creek in Autaugaville. This newly-renovated cottage offers breathtaking views, plenty of fishing and water activities. It has views that will amaze you from the living room and front porch. Enjoy the beautiful sunrise and a cup of coffee from your own front porch. This spacious cottage is a 1 bedroom place that sleeps 5 comfortably. It offers a queen bed, a pull out queen-sized sofa bed and a twin folding bed with comfy mattress. Enjoy amenities like 2 A/C’s, a heater/electric fireplace, hi-speed WiFi, new washer, dryer & full size refrigerator with ice-maker. Bring your Firestick or video game system since the TV has an easily accessible HDMI cable port! The kitchenette offers a brand new microwave, an air fryer & Keurig coffeemaker, rice cooker, toaster, waffle machine and much more. Plenty of silverware, glassware & utensils. The updated bathroom features a refreshing shower after a day out on the water. Bring your boat! Feel free to park your boat trailer under a protective shelter after you launch it directly across from the cottage. The Swift Creek Boat launch is easily accessible, well lit at night and free to use. Your boat can be tied to our floating boat dock over night; only steps away from the cottage. Perfect setup for any big fishing tournament. We also offering a floating dock for kids to play on and jump into the river. It also has a ladder for easy in and out of water. There are no big currents on our end of the river, which is a big plus. Bring your kayak(s), tubes and other water toys. Plenty of places off the Alabama river, like Dutch Island to pull up, rest and play. If tubing, wakeboarding or kneeboarding is your thing; this is the perfect place!

Hidden Gem

This place was truly a hidden gem. It is located right on the river with amazing views with the best sunrise. Carrie and LJ were great hosts and very communicative. Before we arrived they reached out asking if we needed anything specific and provided detailed directions on how to get to the location of the property. The cabin was very charming with everything needed and had little amenities for an extra bonus. Our pup loved it and the scenery as well. We will definitely stay again when back in the area.

Exactly what we needed

We were looking for a quiet place in the country on the water and this property checked all the boxes. The quaint cabin was perfect and we better than we expected. Check in was a breeze with a key pad door handle with our own personal code to get in. The cabin has recently been updated with new appliances, paint, and bedding. The adults slept in the main room and the kids in pull outs in the family room. Waking up with a cup of coffee over looking the river with the sun rising was so refreshing. The kids still had all the internet they needed since they can’t appreciate being unplugged. A big part about our stay was to be on the water. We brought our 25 foot boat and was able to park on the side of the dock. The water is deep and calm. We had no issues with launching across the bay and parking the trailer in the barn on the property.The owners asked how the stay was going. We told them it was amazing except for 1 thing. Our toilet seemed very slow to fill between flushes. They asked if they could take a look at it while we were out on the boat. During our trip the owner Lonnie checked the toilet and realized it needed a new part. When we got back the toilet was working great. If someone is looking for a secluded waterfront retreat with a place to park your boat I will highly recommend this one. Thank you Lonnie and Carrie for sharing your little slice of heaven with me and my family.
