Newcastle Awabakal Nature Reserve Hotels

"We arrived late and the staff were a wonderful help. The hotel is very modern and clean and located along the harbour with a great boardwalk to stretch the legs after a long drive. The kids enjoyed Cold Rock ice cream a 5 min max stroll from the hotel. We grabbed some Thai takeaway too but could easily have opted for something on the room service menu. The pool has a great slide for the kids and a small playground. A short drive up the road/20 minute walk and you’re at Newcastle Beach with the amazing ocean baths. There is a beautiful scenic walk along the coast with a kiosk right on the beach selling food and coffee. Wish we had more time to explore but we were only stopping over for the night. Super comfy bed and pillows. "

"We were pleasantly surprised by the room, it was clean, bright and spotless, the kitchen had a microwave, toaster and kettle, fridge and freezer. There was air conditioning which kept the room nice and cool. The bathroom was lovely, hand wash and shampoo and conditioner was supplied. We had an enjoyable stay and would be happy to return."

"Fabulous apartment. Easy to access, very clean and modern, walking distance to a shopping centre with good food options. Staff were wonderful! My son left his jacket behind on a chair when we left and they immediately rang to say their cleaning staff had found it, and arranged for us to pick it up. "
