Great neighborhood close enough to many attractions, but far enough so it's not noisy. We would definately stay here again!!"

"Small but very comfortable separate building on the owners’ property in a mature, quiet development. Separate off-street parking with a private access to a private courtyard. Place was perfect for the two of us. It would have been tight with four people (max occupancy). Convenient to downtown Charleston (averaged about a 15 minute drive). Thoroughly enjoyed our trip and the accommodations!"

"Our host were most helpful and attentive during our stay. Every detail mentioned in the listing was accurate. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. Our two labs enjoyed the large fenced in yard on the occasions when I didn't walk them in the neighborhood. We drove our Airstream van and were offered the opportunity to plug in to keep the fridge cold and batteries charged. I would highly recommend anyone this place."

"Really enjoyed our stay here. Property is very convenient to the central area for eats and drinks. Convenient to the beach. Definitely vintage FB cottage but we really liked this. Very clean and well kept. I checked in advance regarding bringing a boat down and it all worked great. Plenty of space to park my 24' bay boat on the property along with 2 cars. Would definitely like to come back here in the future! Host was great and even texted me that my car need to be parked to the flow of traffic...

"We absolutely loved our 5-night stay at Kokomo Cottage. It was quiet, peaceful and exactly what we needed after a hectic tax season. Rather heading to Folley Beach, or downtown Charleston for a day of shopping, sightseeing or an incredible dinner, the Cottage is centrally located to everything we wanted to do. Owners ensure your privacy and were very helpful, as needed! We loved our vacation and didn't want to leave! Thanks Ken and Christine!!!"

"I was visiting my son for the holidays and needed a place to stay. This house was perfect. Loved walking around the yard looking at the plants or sitting outside on the covered patio. The house was decorated for Christmas. It was well-stocked for me to cook meals. The host communicates quickly. There is a guest book with recommendations. The host even offered a bottle of wine! Great host. Darling place. I enjoyed my stay."

Nice breakfast place within walking distance as well as a grocery, etc. Place was comfortable and the host was helpful and generous with ideas and suggestions. Would suggest adding a full length mirror (2 girls getting ready to go out on the town 😉)."

"Need more to do around the resort. Limited options for dining and drinks. A good sports bar on the main property would be nice. Eliminate pay for seats on beach or lower the price. $50 per day seems a bit pricey. "

"We really enjoyed our stay at The Iris. We stayed in a superior suite which was bright and light and with all that we needed for four nights. It turned out we were in a great area with lots of delicious dining options and a short walk from King Street which is the Main Street in Charleston. We walked everywhere. We would totally recommend and would come back if we visit Charleston again. "
