With the Paul Bunyan state trail a .1 mile walk on the road to the resort, you’re a 2 mile walk from Nisswa’s shopping, breweries and restaurants. We visited in October and the late fall foliage was picture perfect. Highly recommend, will be back again! 」

「It was perfect for a much needed "sister getaway" weekend. Host did a good job of keeping us informed of policies and procedures and was in contact when needed. The deck overlooking the lake was awesome. Heard the loons every morning and watched the swans every day. The hide-a-bed had a super comfortable mattress. We were hoping to make a fire in the fire pit outside and/or the fireplace inside but never did - just ran out of time. Would love to come again and stay at least one more full...

「Everything was good! If I were to say anything negative at all, the cabin ceilings are short. And there is a beam in the middle. 「The Bear's Den is a darling place to stay on a vacation. While the bedrooms were on the smaller side, the living areas had tons of room to relax and move around, which is where it really matters.
