"We did not stay here! They would not check us in even though I showed them we had paid on Expedia. They wanted cash from us. They said Expedia doesn’t pay them and they wanted us to pay again. We didn’t because the place looked dirty and unfinished. We left. Now I’m trying to get my money back from Expedia. i got through on chat, Bupindher said someone from Expedia service would email me but they have not."

"Stayed for 4 nights on the off chance we would have to curfew following the election date but glad we had the extra time here. The hotel has been closed for renovation but has recent opened 1.5 months and I could not fault it! The rooms are beautifully designed, lots of space, beautiful Mountain View’s (we had one of the sunrise view rooms but I understand they also have sunset views too) and all amenities included. "Stayed here for one night after climbing Adam’s Peak and it was perfect for the rest and sleep that was needed. The property was clean, including the room which had a big, comfy bed and hot water. No ac needed as it got chilly in the evening, there was a warm duvet. Staff were extremely nice and friendly, making sure we were well attended do. "We messed up our trip and left a day early (holiday brain) but the hotel was very good. The location is great, while you will hear the call to prayer it wasn't an issue for us"

"We spoilt ourselves with 2 nights in Ahas Pokuna. This is a truly special place. Greeted at the road side by Arun our naturalist guide we were immediately enveloped in the forest following a footpath (truly the only access) leading us up the the very exclusive camp. We were the only guest and had the middle of three tent suites/tree houses. The beautifully maintained grounds of the camp are full of birds and the staff are always attentive. "To give the benefit of doubt to the property we checked in on Christmas Day and checked out the next day. The access road to the property was a narrow and steep dirt road that was quite difficult to drive on. Hopefully this is only a temporary situation. The staff were friendly and helpful when we arrived. But everything went downhill from that point onwards.
