"The photographs of the property do not do this house and gardens justice. There were 14 of us staying and it’s the best house we’ve ever stayed in. The kitchen has everything you need to cook and entertain, with an Aga and separate oven. Seating in the house is plentiful and the grounds are stunning. We could easily walk for dinner into Bala as well as stroll down to the lake. The children had a swim in the leisure centre as the lake is a tad cold in May! It’s worth every penny to stay here....

"Clean and well fitted out (as described) and in a good location for harbour and beach. Friendly staff. I was initially concerned at a lack of information about where we could park, but once we had got to the place to ask, turns out they have a free parking space nearby for guests and we were not rushed out of it when we checked out so we had an extra couple of hours on the harbour with no parking problem. Great to have good air conditioning - gets hot in the attic room - and controllable blinds...

"Absolutely beautiful. I have never stayed in a static caravan before but this was the best experience for a first timer. The facilities were spot on and the hot tub was an added bonus and throughly enjoyed by the children. The only downside was that the toilet seat was very loose and shifted when sitting on it. It was a minor problem and didn’t really affect our stay. "

"The property is small but that is part of the charm. Only two of us and it was exactly what we wanted. Managed to cook a huge Christmas dinner and had some beautiful walks. Had a lovely relaxing break in beautiful surroundings."

Well set out and excellent space for everyone to be able to eat, cook and play together with everything that we needed. The kids loved the upstairs seating area as the was so much space for them to play. "Another wonderful stay at out favourite place. The cottage is homely and comfortable with a fabulous garden for the dogs and a hot tub to relax in after a day on the beach or in the hills. Perfect location close to the centre of Fairbourne and the beach. Hosts are great at communicating and very welcoming. We'll be back again soon."
