「Room was lovely, but really could do with some air-conditioning as it was unbearable to sleep in the heat, the fan supplied was pretty much useless. The staff were fantastic and made us feel welcome throughout..
The only downfall is we had children in the room above us who were constantly bouncing a football!
Would I return again? Yes but there needs to be a stricter policy about children.」

「We love staying in older hotels with character, beautiful architecture and lovely gardens, so Wotton House seemed the perfect choice. The location was ideal for visiting friends, and the grounds, restaurant and bar were all excellent.
Unfortunately, our stay coincided with Britain’s heat wave. When we checked in, we were told the bedrooms had no air conditioning. To be fair, the hotel supplied two fans, but they offered little relief from the extreme temperatures.
