"We absolutely loved the hatchlings house! The house is beautifully decorated and has such a fun history as being one of the original houses on the island. We were also impressed with the cleanliness of the property. Host was super communicative and house is very well stocked and organized. "

"We stayed here over Thanksgiving weekend and had an amazing experience. The house was spacious and comfortable, with a great layout -- nice having a downstairs bedroom suite, plus the bedrooms on the 2nd floor. All of the bathrooms were recently updated with really nice finishes, and the mattresses were excellent... everyone slept well!The location couldn’t be better: less than a minute walk to the beach and just a short ride to the ferry and marina. We also loved having three golf carts included (two 4-seaters and one 6-seater), which made getting around the island super easy.Overall, a fantastic stay. We’ll definitely be back!"

"Our family had a wonderful October stay! The cottage was absolutely beautiful and Melanie was a wonderful host! We were so impressed with the space, comfortable & beautiful rooms, the nature surrounding the cottage and all the great touches that made us feel welcome and at home! We also really enjoyed the convenience of being able to use the 2 golf carts! We loved hopping in a golf cart and driving to all the different beach accesses, restaurants, the lighthouse, market, BHI club, marina and just exploring the island! We loved seeing all the deer and beautiful birds too! We did not want to leave and looking forward to returning! "

Super helpful to get us more materials for our golf cart when it was raining from a nor'easter on the weekend. Rooms were great and beds were comfortable. Amazing screened in porch space.
