「I stayed for an extended period of time. The owner and his sons live on the property, but you won’t see them very much. The property is SO peaceful, quiet, and safe. They’ve been working to improve it and so there’s some renovations and things here and there, but nothing that would make you uncomfortable or disturb you. 「We really enjoyed our stay here! We went out on the canoe in the morning and it was so quiet and peaceful out there. The lake did get busier later in the afternoon with jet skiers and water skiers, people fishing etc. The ducks and chickens on the property were a nice surprise:) My son loved that. 「This is our "go-to" home when we visit family in the Baldwin area. Always clean, good lighting, spacious enough for suitcases & enough outlets for electronics, good complete breakfast, clean pool area. Back side of hotel looks out into rural woods -- no neighbors! Many of the desk personnel greet us like old friends after several visits, and are helpful & friendly. I want to commend a newer employee Cheyenne on the 2nd shift -- we needed a little extra bedding to secure a 3-year-old in one...
