“Stayed here for a week as a base to mooch around Mayo where my family roots are. Hotel decor is a little tired here and there but that did not affect our enjoyment or not make hotel VFM. Lots of friendly local/Irish staff, which I think helps to add warmth to the atmosphere and is perhaps unusual for this size of hotel - perhaps because of Westport’s size? Food is great. Had been meaning to climb Croagh Patrick for a while and finally got round to it this time. This is not for the feint-hearted……

“The hotel is beautiful inside and out. Rooms spacious and immaculate. Comfortable beds. Food and drink couldn’t be faulted. Great choice at breakfast. Westport is a lovely town with plenty to see and do. Highly recommend ”

“It had a luxurious vibe and it was a superb spot to get around town. Access to the good gym, spa, sauna and steam room was a real bonus! The food on offer was easily adapted for my GF requirements. ”

“Great hotel in the heart of Westport! Breakfast was terrific, rooms clean and spacious, walkable to everywhere in town and close to shops, restos and pubs. Also a good take off point for Kylemore Abbey, Achill island, etc. Would definitely return! ”
