Great stay

We were heading to Melbourne for a concert and were able to checkin early to drop our bags off on our way through it was a pleasant stay and the host weee so accomodating and the bed was comfortable we would stay again .

Only problem was with the lack of room with the bathroom door, as it opens inwards if you have a towel on the rack at the sink the door gets stuck on it thats how close the door is to the sink/bench Neat, clean room, no issues otherwise

Enjoyed my stay at Colonial Motor Inn, villa was very clean and has 2 bathrooms and 2 tv's.The Manager gave us an upgrade on arrival, so thanks alot. The pool was clean and nicely heated, overall its a relaxing place to stay with an hasske free check in and check out. 5 stars.clean

Loved the light and heater on with late check in. Loved also the prima drinks and the restocking of them. The facilities were perfect for our needs. Beds were comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay.

Highly recommend for families. Simple brekky items provided which was a lovely touch. Inside Pool was nice and warm; kids enjoyed it as we visited during a super cold weekend. Easy and convenient comms with property manager via text.

We stayed here for 2 nights and was pleasantly surprised with a box of breakfast items including bread, cereal milk, toast toppings and fruit boxes and then topped up day 2, which was a such a treat and so appreciated. Family enjoyed the pool. Had a washing machine and dryer. Would stay again. Friendly and helpful staff!

Pretty average motel, ok for the price. Needs some upgrades. Was noisy as on the main highway, but you would expect that, but that makes it easy to access and when leaving to no need to get out of town.

Colonial Ballarat.

Lovely place staff wonderful amenities great but the dishwasher knob fell off. Having said this I messaged the manager who was really lovely about it. Kids want to stay again!!! They also had complimentary juice box’s milk and other small bits and pieces. Great little place!!

Old and tired but trying its best. Bed was comfortable but biggest problem was woeful shower. Silly use of water saving shower head with no pressure. Check in w a s good and easy despite late arrival. Wouldn't take too much effort to upgrade to a 4 star property

Service prior to check in and friendless on check-in were OUTSTANDING absolutely beautiful to deal with, indoor pool was great kids were happy and close to Food and other requirements. Also the Breakfast basket was really cute, and just enough 💙 Cleaning needs some attention cobwebs hanging from roof above bed, cubboard in bathroom had somthing spilled down them needed a wipe over and maybe a clean around windows alot of mold growing from dampness. Would return just a few touch ups needed

Disappointing

Hotel room was not what was expected, the pictures online looked great, clean, modern, however very underwhelming and gross in person. Stains on the carpet, bathroom needed a thorough scrub as well as a deep clean, there was dust, mould, things stuck to the walls, dirty soap holders. It it safe to say i didnt want to touch anything. The shower didnt have a gradual fall to the drain, it had such a steep slope down to the drain which made it dangerous to just stand there as there was no flat surface in there. Almost slipped when getting out! For the cost of the stay for 1 night, very disappointing. Coffee was crap, sponge, dish brush and tea towel dirty and didnt look changed from the last people in the room.

This is definitely not a 4 star motel. Mould in the shower, dead pillows a window with no curtain that lets the light into the bedroom. They came into the room each day but did not make the beds. Seriously rethink this property if you are thinking of booking.
