"The room was beautiful but, there is no microwaves in the rooms. The water would not get hot in the sink. Most of all they didn't clean my room. My stay was 2 days. Called front desk and was told if you don't request for them to clean it they will bye pass you... really! All the money I spent for the room and this is the service I receive. It's convenient to be there but I will not stay again. Ooh and the elevators are way too far off your room is in the middle. Elevators are only on one end and it's a good workout to get there"

"The woman who checked me in was very polite, professional and helpful. I didn't use the gym because I was only there for the night, but it looked better than most. Room was clean with a nice climate control system. Breakfast could have been better, but it was average for the price of the stay."

"Well, to start with the ice machine was out of service. They did give me a plastic bag with ice in it. Next, there was a cigarette burn on the bed sheet. I didn’t complain about that or the fact that there was no where to hang clothes. There seemed to be an area for that, but the rod was not there. However, the main problem was the TV was unwatchable. I had to go to the front desk three times to address the TV issue. And they sent someone to the room each time, but the problem was not fixed. The last time the maintenance man came and I asked him to switch out the TV and the TV box. He acted like they didn’t know if they had one so I asked him to take one out of a room that was not used. I know there were plenty of vacant rooms because I can see the curtains open in them when I walk along the entrance. He said he would check it at the front desk, but he never came back to my room or responded. I complained when I left. Very bad experience. "

"We stayed on 3rd floor. The room was large, nicely decorated, had a huge walk in shower, high wood plank ceilings and wood beams. There was a filtered water dispenser which was nice for coffee. We are not casino people but it was within easily walking distance. Our stay at The Laurel was excellent. "
