「We have stayed here before and received the usual warm welcome from the owner. The location is to the east of Carrick town, on a side road set back from the M4. The accommodation is quiet though. Bedrooms are cosy and homely.. A good breakfast in the dining room is ensured. Plenty of safe parking space.」

「The room was outstanding in every way, staff were more than helpful, would not hesitate to stay there again.」

「The bathroom had drips of tea or coffee on the floor, the glasses in the bathroom had not been cleaned thoroughly and the floor had not been swept. The spoons for the tea /coffee facility had heavy staining, they needed a proper clean or once through the dishwasher. My wife and I straightened the bed, but there was no attempt to make the bed properly!」

「Staff was very helpful and friendly but this is far from a 4 star hotel. Rooms and common spaces are very dated. One of the beds in our room was lopsided from wear and in the bathroom the toilet tissue is in a dispenser like in a public toilet. 」
