"Stunning resort (think Raffles styles), our pool view room was beautiful, big bed, balcony etc... good breakfast each day, nice selection. With the beach and main pools being across the road, it was nice and quiet. Pools were great, enough seating.
Great coffee just outside the resort (turn left) - Toast cafe. And great place for lunch (to the right) Limlemon."

The only cons are that it is extremely isolated and the beach is not a nice beach to swim in"

"The customer service was excellent. After I checked I to my room. The bathtub was still dirty. I asked the staff to clean it up and they cleaned in a timely manner. The seal of my toilet broke and I asked the service desk to fix that also. Took about 3 hours and they fixed it while I was out. The hotel also provided shuttle services to popular tourist spots on the island."

"We had a wonderful stay at The Hive Hotel in Lamai the resort is lovely and very clean, the rooms are very clean and spacious, breakfast is excellent you also have an egg option just request with your server.
Pool is situated overlooking the beach with very comfortable beds.
The staff are fantastic and a credit to the hotel from reception to maids and restaurant pool staff all courteous and tentative to your needs.
We would definitely stay here again. "
