Family-friendly fun awaits at this coastal hideaway! Originally built in 1964, The Lamplighter Inn is a classic roadside hideaway situated moments from the ocean on Highway 101. You’ll love the retro charm, modern updates, and sizable rooms.

Each room presents a unique, sea-themed interior with recent upgrades like new flooring and Serta Beautyrest mattresses. Kick back to watch favorite TV shows with Roku's for signing into your personal streaming services. Perfect for keeping beach snacks handy, the kitchenette includes a mini-fridge, microwave, and coffee maker.

Your peaceful setting is only three-quarters of a mile from Old Town Bandon, with ten square blocks of local shops and restaurants along the Coquille River. Bandon’s famous beaches are within a two-mile drive, and serene hiking trails can be found just minutes away.

Cute room. Clean aside from sand under the day bed and some small bits of trash from previous guests. Tub could use some new caulking but was otherwise spotless. Door a little tricky to lock and unlock but we figured it out. Central location close to beach, stores, food, etc. which means there was road noise; we expected this. Overall good stay.

Cute place!!!

It was a nice little place!! Clean and comfortable! Don’t miss the lighthouse when the fog comes in. It’s really neat.

Floors ans shelves were dirty and dusty. Shower curtain rod was about to fall out of wall. Had to fix bathroom doorknob myself so it would'nt fall off. Cracks in drywall near sink in room. Internet was not fast at all. Would be a good idea to have a chrome cast or ability to screen mirror to tv so you can actually watch a movie since there is no included movie channels. Stayed here before in the main house room 118 and tv at least had streaming services.

This place was perfect

My partner and our two dogs stayed in the sea lion den. It was very spacious and the beds were comfortable. It was close enough that we could walk to the old town area. Bandon is a great town with lovely people and beaches!

Sheets were not cleaned from prior guests

The property would have great except that the bed sheets had not been changed after the prior guest. I reached out to the property management company and they assured me that the cleaners would drop off clean sheets but they never did. We stayed at the property for two nights and some of the beds were so filthy with what looked like dog hair, dirt and smudges that we did not sleep on two of the fours beds either night. The cleaning crew never did bring clean sheets to the rental during our stay. Very disappointing.

Another excellent stay

This place is a gem in my favorite coastal location. The beds are comfortable, it has good amenities and lots of space in the room. Booking, check-in, and check-out are super easy. The room was clean and comfortable and we were close to all the places we wanted to go.

Wonderful stay!

We loved our stay here. The room was large, clean, and comfortable. We enjoyed our time in the room, plus we really liked how close it was to all the things we wanted to see and do. Just across the road from a grocery store and down the street from Old Town Bandon. I am planning to go back with my son next month. The only thing I wish is that it had soaps for the bathtub and sink area. (Next month I'll pack my own soap) Everything else was great!
