Clean and well appointed rooms. Pebbles of dining options located on the property with room service available. Plenty more of transportation via multiple means to get around town. The spa; with massage; aqua therapy and gym were very inviting and clean. The entire staff were pleasant, professional.

This hotel is beautiful. The staff is excellent. There are multiple restaurants and bars on the property. It is in walking distance of many shops and restaurants. In short we had a wonderful experience and plan to stay there again on our next trip to Bangkok

The mail issue is the size of the room - very small for the class of hotel. The requested 2 double beds were squished together - there is no place for them to be apart. On one side there is about a foot space to get into the bed. The night stands or what pretends to be one is a small ledge off the wall - hardly any space to place anything. The safe is at floor level which is impossible for a senior citizen to use. What is ASTONISHING is there is no closet - just a few hangers over where the suitcase is to be placed. Quite disappointing.

One of the best hotels I’ve stayed at! Friendly service, delicious food, clean and beautiful decor both around the hotel and in the rooms. So much beautiful art! I highly recommend this hotel and would stay here again!!!

The hotel itself was great! However, the water ferry service only starts at 10:00 am, and if you don’t know EXACTLY when you will be back to book the ferry, it is hard to get back, except by taxi. The ferry does NOT run regularly, so if you missed yours, then you are out of luck. Even if you book the ferry service, it is only about once every hour. I wish the hotel ferry service would run regularly to Sathon pier and Icon Siam. Or, if they joined with the Ramada and had a regular service, then I would have rated it 5 out of 5. However, because of the lack of access to the BTS and ferry system, it makes it hard to go to and from this location. However, other than that, beautiful hotel, great pool, and amazing breakfast!

Wonderful facility, outstanding staff, excellent gym and spa, and a superb breakfast buffet. Staff went above and beyond in all interactions. Service was top notch. Pool was wonderful. Boat service was punctual and enjoyable. Plan to stay again. Thanks for a great visit.

Always after a side hustle
The location is great, the rooms quirky and fabulous, room staff perfect…..but the front end staff were always after a side hustle, whether this was inflating prices for a show, trying to convince you they would sort a fixed price taxi for B800 (meter was B350), phoning the room for a spa after one visit to look around, then adding 10% on a bar bill to pour a beer. I would happily tip anyone, but that’s my choice. Come Salil you can do so much better.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Salil. The hotel was beautiful and the staff was very friendly. The hotel pool and view was gorgeous and the buffet breakfast was delicious. The room was very nice especially the beautiful large soaking tub. Would highly recommend this property and is quiet and perfect for families visiting Bangkok. It is a little far from some of the attractions but we didn’t mind it was work it. Also had an excellent traditional Thai massage at a temple nearby.

This is a wonderful property! The staff were very attentive and helpful. They spoke great English. They even helped me with a few special requests and helped me to navigate the complex, beautiful metropolis that is Bangkok. We enjoyed Salil's ferry service to the Public Ferry stop and Iconsiam. The view from our room onto the river was beautiful. Breakfast was plentiful and the variety was great. We were at the public ferry stop trying to figure things out. We were approached by Jirasik who works at Salil. He was on his way home but recognized us and stopped to help us sort our sightseeing day out. We were so grateful.
