Great property and host! Everything was as shown in the listing and everyone enjoyed the house very much. We had a younger set of kids there as well as some older ones, so the two different play areas were awesome and all age appropriate. It made our stay much more enjoyable. The studio apartment was great to have a separate quieter space as well.

Amazing home

This house is simply amazing! Every detail was thought out. There were so many rooms to spread out in and for all ages to enjoy! The grandkids loved the jungle room so much and all enjoyed the game room. The zen room was a quiet place to enjoy nature. Kapil was responsive and assisted with all of our needs. We will definitely be back as this exceeded all expectations!

The house is perfect! We had everything we needed for every age. The teens and adults enjoyed the glow game room and our littles loved the jungle playroom with the gaming table (the adults even had a little fun with the game table 😁). There is something for everyone! Very clean, shampoo/conditioner/soap dispensers provided in every bathroom. The hot tub and fire pit were perfect to end the day! The host was very responsive and helpful with every question we had. We are ready to book it again for next year.

Top Notch Cabin Stay!

My recent stay at the Mountain Majesty cabin was nothing short of extraordinary! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the sheer beauty and comfort this rental had to offer. I can't say enough good things about it. First and foremost, cleanliness was a top priority for us, and this cabin exceeded our expectations. It was spotless, and you could tell the owners take pride in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. The accommodations were top-notch. We were pleasantly surprised by the attention to detail in every aspect of the cabin, from the quality linens to the well-stocked kitchen. It was clear that the owners had put a lot of thought into making their guests' stay as comfortable as possible.

Multigenerational Thanksgiving Holiday

This place is magical! We had 16 family members with ages ranging from 2 to 78 years old. There was plenty to do for all of us and also allowed for us to separate if needed. The kitchen had everything we needed, even for cooking a Thanksgiving feast. The owners were extremely responsive and easy to communicate with, specifically with the internet in the cottage and the TV remote in the living room. When we reached out to them for questions, we had answers in no time! They even purchased a crock pot for us ahead of time! They really thought of every detail for a multigenerational trip. This allowed us to relax in the living room or enjoy our smores by the bonfire. The pictures are extremely accurate to what the house looks like in person. It's very evident that the owners have much love and pride for their property. I highly recommend this home if you're looking for a vacation that will create memories to last forever.

Very nice home (almost perfect), but...

The layout of the house was fantastic, especially for our large group. The house provided enough room for our family and friends to have their personal space and host communal activities. The house is proximal to meet basic needs, such as grocery shopping, restaurants, etc. The home is also centrally located for outside adventures (rafting, UTVs, etc.). *The only downside of the property is the limited time you are able to spend enjoying the outside deck and fire pit. There is a "curfew" of 930pm where you are unable to have a fire, conversate, or have the outside lights on. This is extremely limiting in the summer when the sun sets around 8pm. **The limitation is mentioned in the lease agreement, however, I missed the stipulation during my review of the document.

Game Room: The cabin boasts a range of top-notch amenities that cater to every member of the family. The highlight for me was the glow-in-the-dark Game Room, which was like stepping into a magical wonderland. Painted by a Disney artist, it's a one-of-a-kind experience you won't find anywhere else. 2. Zen Den: I enjoyed spending mornings and evenings in the Zen Den surrounded by nature, taking in breathtaking sunsets and views. 3. Private Cottage: The property also includes a unique studio cottage, which is perfect for grandparents or anyone in your group who needs some extra space, quiet or privacy. 4. We had an amazing stay at Maya's Banner Elk Cabin! The cabin was clean, and the beds were comfortable. I felt right at home and enjoyed every moment. We had 3 toddlers as part of our family trip and they really enjoyed the kids Safari area and 5 teenagers who also enjoyed the glow jungle game room. I highly recommend this cabin to anyone with toddlers and teenagers who are looking for a cozy and clean place to stay!

Flexible and Friendly

Mountain Majesty was all that we had hoped for. 14 of us, ages 6 to 69, were able to find rest, recreation and space to be together without being on top of one another. The mountain roads were something we had to get used to, but the scenery was worth it!

Mountain Air

We come to the Banner Elk area each winter. This cabin was by far the best one we’ve stayed in! The game room was a huge hit as well as the fire pit outside. Convenient to most anything you want to explore. Pretty perfect getaway!
