Very clean, comfortable beds. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms need to be renovated - new doors, windows, bathrooms but it was a quiet, comfortable place. Very conveniently located across from the CAT ferry.

Room was ok and spacious enough. The bathroom was small and very outdated, and in need of maintenance. Location was great for access to Acadia, too far of a walk to the downtown area. Breakfast options were poor.

Overall, not a bad stay for the budget. I got worried reading other reviews but my bed and bathroom were clean, and the room had a fridge and microwave. There edges of the room and appliances were dusty and the furniture and carpet were need of an update. Basic continental breakfast but most days I left early to go to the park and breakfast only started at 7 AM. I came back by 6:30 PM, so parking was never an issue, but it is a small lot with an overflow lot across the street.

Tried to call to get our room cleaned and no one answered the phone just rang and rang. Breakfast is a busy don't plan on eating anything meaningful or to fill you up. Staff are nice of you can find one.

For staying a bit out of Bar Harbor, it wasn't a terrible hotel. Definitely needs some updating. And small small small rooms, entering from the outside. I was definitely expecting a bit nicer, but the shower and beds were just fine. VERY convenient for our very early hikes in Acadia National Park. Breakfast sub par. Bagels and cereal. Considering pricing IN Bar Harbor, and not too many choices, a night or 2 here won't kill ya.

The staff was great. The prperty was very clean. The building is older and needs updating and is below average regarding handicapped accessibility to the 2nd floor. Breakfast was on the sparse side and very limited.

Staff was great and location was perfect for what we were looking for but the room was damp and moldy smelling, the rugs were damp and moldy smelling and the clean towels were damp feeling. We all had mild respiratory symptoms because of it.

I cannot figure out why this hotel did not receive a much higher rating on trip advisor or other rating platforms. The staff was terrific- friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean, the bed very comfortable and the coffee-maker and fridge were a nice addition. The continental breakfast was generous and had a number of options, helping us avoid having to find a restaurant each morning and allowing us to get into the park each morning before the crowds. The location was perfect- right near both Bar Harbor and the park. We would definitely stay here again.
