「My friends and I came away very pleased with our no-frills wilderness camping on Rod's property. He has the best view of the Huron Mtns I've seen, with a better perspective on the south faces than Pt Abbaye. They really lit up in the sun with peak color all over. We also loved his sweet dog Max, who quickly pivoted from intimidating bark at strangers to "dare you to try to take my stick" playfulness in seconds.I would go back in a heartbeat, but I did take off 1 star for listing accuracy only...

They reached out to us (not the other way around, as we were still traveling and hadn’t seen the weather reports), offering candles, water, and snow shoveling to make sure our stay remained safe, comfortable and fun. 「Everything was great, the toilet needs to be replaced...if youre a male over 6' like me, youre squatting low to sit, and your junk goes straight into the water...not very pleasant lol...other than that, it was amazing.」
