"Location in holetown was good. Beach view was awesome. Walk down staircase you are on sandy lane beach only seven steps. Other staircases you are on the water swimming. The entertainment was good and food was very good. Kayak were free and fun and sail boat ride was great. Rooms were clean and the mini split air conditioner worked incredibly well. The staff was excellent the drinking water in Barbados was excellent. "

"What a stay. Although my visit began with a couple of small hiccups…a floor that hadn’t been fully swept and a small puddle from a dripping AC…both issues were quickly resolved. After years of traveling and staying in countless hotels, I’ve learned that little imperfections happen everywhere. What truly set this place apart was the genuinely warm staff. Zoe at the front desk and Sharnisa in the restaurants were exceptional…warm, intuitive, and attentive. Ache and Michael carried that same spirit, and Davon went above and beyond to arrange an early-morning driver for me. The housekeeping team worked with such care that the rooms felt magically refreshed each day. The beach experience was beautifully maintained, with water activities readily available and encouraged. On my final day, I joined a fantastic Pilates class with Carri….an absolute gem. There is a calm, peaceful energy that seems to settle over this hotel and its guests. I returned to the bustle of NYC feeling restored and deeply grateful to the entire Waves family. Until next year."

"We are 3 couples and stayed one week in May - villa is located on the west coast with direct access to small beach, and beautiful crystal clear waters, it's near the fish market where we bought tuna and other fish for dinners- like others mentioned it's near the busy road and you can hear the cars and occasionally roasters and dogs but we got used to it. Kitchen has mostly has all you need to preorder meals we bought oil and coffee but there are lot of spices and sally sugar etc. we didn't like any of the restaurants near by even Q bistro down the road was ok food expensive and the service bad. Holetown is about 15 min by local bus which has great supermarket Macey. There are 2 rooms on the first floor and large master on the second a few flight of stairs as well. Clean and our housekeeper Rose was nice. There is a security card a night which comes to the property and walks around which we appreciate but find strange they are coming into the property where we sit. We felt very safe- it was off season so our price was good as we are coming from Canada. Wifi was spotty and non existent at the times outside the main floor but management was very responsive to our request for example I need good pillows and when I made a request to change the ones I had Rose provided better one. Beach is small and we walked all the way to the other north part of it which requires some swimming but we loved it and the small beach in front of our villa was good to swim but bring swim shoes - we saw sitting rays on our 4 day but again they are also on the other beach so you need to pay attention- we had a great time"

"Everything was wonderful! Emma was a pleasure to communicate with and the provisions she provided were much appreciated. The kitchen had everything we needed. We chose to make our own breakfasts and lunches (after a trip to the nearby Massey grocery store) and enjoyed a combination of dinners out, getting takeout and barbecuing. The three bedrooms are very comfortable and it was nice having ensuite bathrooms for all of them. Having Tamika or Caroline come by every other day was helpful in keeping everything neat and clean. The location is amazing! We loved the patio, plunge pool and garden which are all very private and the perfect place to relax and enjoy dining al fresco. The sunsets were outstanding!! I do wish we could have seen the ocean from the patio/lounge area but the bushes and hedges block the view. I recommend having water shoes for swimming in the ocean. On the first morning I stepped on a sea urchin and that was painful! Tip: it is easier to swim out front when it is high tide. We enjoyed our week at Mahogany Pod and would not hesitate to stay there again! Thank you, Emma!"

"My husband and I enjoyed our stay at Waterside 101 very much. The apartment is spacious, clean and very well equipped. I has a lovely patio with direct pool and beach access and gorgeous sunset views. Very good snorkelling right in front of the property. We highly recommend."

"This property is ideally located on Barbados’ Platinum Coast, within easy reach of some of the island’s best beaches. The area felt very safe, and the local residents were friendly and welcoming.The apartment was spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped, with air-conditioned bedrooms, beautiful gardens, and everything we needed for a relaxing one-week stay.Loraine was an exceptional host—responsive, easy to communicate with, and very knowledgeable about the area.
