Large apartment and perfect location!

Wonderful large 5 bedroom unit in the best location possible!! No ensuites but lots of bathrooms. Very small kitchen but didn’t bother us, we ate at all the places nearby!

An acceptable place to stay

The place was a good location and was well decorated. However, many features of the unit did not work properly. One of the shower heads was broken, some of the shelves in the bathrooms were not screwed in properly, and the place should have been cleaner. In addition, we had no power or elevator for almost 24 hours on the last day. For the price we payed, would have expected less hickups.

Barcelona girls trip

Our ladies group (5 of us) reserved this property because it was close to Placa de Catalunya, had 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms and a balcony outdoors. We used every inch if this place. We loved the location! We would get up in the morning, head down the street for coffee and a croissant and then begin the day's activities. I have been to Barcelona before but my friends had not and they loved how easy it was to walk to so many restaurants and sites. We had a wonderful time! We thought the living room area was wonderful because we could all sit around for happy hour or reading or rehashing events at the end of the day. We would all recommend this property. The check in process was easy and the host was very helpful with a list of nearby restaurants. We did ask some basic questions and the host was very responsive. Thanks for a great memory!

Beautiful place & awesome location

The place was perfect for my family of 12. Its a beautiful place. The location is awesome, convenient for everything. The host was very responsive, respectful, kind, all that good stuff. The balcony was great too, and it's so nice to have 4 bathrooms when staying with such a large group. The only cons are that the kitchen is small, so cooking any large family meals, especially without a dish washer was a no go for us, but it was fine because we wanted to explore all the food Barcelona has to offer anyway! The cleanliness level wasn't up to par for my family of clean freaks. When we mentioned this to the host, they sent a cleaner to fix the issues and provide more towels, etc. That was much appreciated. But I still feel the place needs a serious deep cleaning (we are picky like that). Overall, happy with our stay and definitely the host/ property management person we were in contact with. One thing to note is that it's several flights up with a sketchy, out of order elevator. :)

A great Barcelona apartment and location!

First, let me commend the managers of this sweet spot, The Barcelona Collection. They answered every question I asked before our arrival extremely promptly and took immediate care of getting us in the apartment, even sending someone when we were having some difficulty ( no fault of theirs). We were also able to leave our luggage while the apartment was being cleaned. The apartment was great for our needs and the elevator was a plus. The photos are accurate. One enters the apartment through a large foyer, followed by a hallway that can be closed off. Feeding into that hallway is a bedroom with 3 beds and a full bathroom on the opposite side than the bedroom. The hallway then leads to the living room, where the sofas are. There are 2 bedrooms feeding into the living room, one on each side, with full beds. The beautiful dining room is off of the living room and there are 2 bedrooms feeding into the dining room, one on each side. One of those has a full bed; the other two beds. Off of the dining room is the pleasant balcony, overlooking the neighborhood’s non-street facing side. The washer/dryer is located in a balcony closet. Going back into the living room, on the opposite side of the entry hallway is a door that leads to the kitchen and 3 full bathrooms. All of the bedrooms and bathrooms were needed and appreciated by our family group. The location was excellent as well with easy access to the Metro, Aerobús, grocery store, shopping and whatever The Ramblas had to offer.

Family Trip to Barcelona

My family ( 8 of us ) stayed for 10 days. The apartment was in a great location, it was clean and the size was good. We could have used more towels. Overall, an excellent propert and management team.

Very central location

Overall had a great stay. Property is in center of Barcelona. Certain details missing (number of towels, drying rack, kitchen towels, trash bags, netflix etc don't work on smart TV) that leave a little to be desired for a family visit. All in all a good stay but expected a little more detail orientated for the price.

Property looked as listed but one of the bathroom toilets were not cleaned upon arrival. They were nice to let us leave our luggage earlier than 5pm check in at least. The lock technology on the door was really frustrating. Took about 20 minutes every time we tried to open the door. Which was really hard at night.

Great location, but...

The VRBO description of the property said: "Fully equipped kitchen, washer, dryer and dishwasher". There was no dryer or dishwasher! Also, the plumbing was in poor shape. One of the toilets was so loose and wobbly that it was unusable. That bathroom smelled so bad due to the loose toilet that it was unusable. Other bathrooms had faucets that were loose and hard to use. Also, one key for a group of 8 was difficult. Other than that, the A/C and the location was great.

To find somewhere in the heart of the city that allowed 2 families, each with kids, to have sufficient bedroom and bathroom accomodations and walking distance to so much was a huge selling point for us. There are a few things to note about the experience. 1. The towels provided are minimal so I would have liked to have more or known to bring extra myself. 2. The walls of the apartment are very thin so even just having conversations at night the noise carries and disturbs neighbors. 3. Most of the bathrooms are tucked away in a back hallway of the unit, at first we thought the listing was wrong and there was only 1 bathroom! Thankfully that wasn't the case! But the space works and the location of this property couldn't be better so we are definitely glad we chose this listing!

Küche: Keine Geschirrspültücher, keine Basics wie Salz und Pfeffer, Schrank in der Küche kaputt. Großer Topf mit schwarzem Flecken auf dem Boden (war nicht mehr von uns zu beseitigen). Spülbecken hatte keinen Stöpsel (Wasser lief beim Spülen also immer weg) Heizung/Klimaanlage in manchen Räumen defekt Fruchtfliegen in der ganzen Wohnung, bereits schon am Tag der Anreise. In einem Badezimmer lief das Wasser aus der Dusche nicht ab. Bei dem Preis wäre etwas Wasser etc. zur Begrüßung wünschenswert gewesen. Stilvolle und imposante Wohnung. Die letzte Renovierung ist aber schon ein paar Jahre her.
