Charming old building. The small apartment was surprisingly spacious and had a nice balcony. The bed was very comfortable, and the shower was great, with a large showerhead and a handheld option. Towels were clean and fresh. The location was very central, which was a big plus. However, cleanliness could have been better overall, and instead of a proper bathroom door, there was just a heavy curtain, which felt a bit awkward. Despite that, we really enjoyed our stay and would choose this place again.

Ideal location in vecchia Bari. Close to San Nicola and Castello Svevo. 20 minute walk to train station and very close to the sea. Tiny, quirky, but just what I needed. Wifi was inconsistent and couldn't get hot water. Could have called to ask but chose to manage without it. Overall, great little spot.

Very comfortable, spacious and charming. Great location by old city and castle. Was a little hard to find at first, and some street noise at night. Loved the balcony and large bathroom.

Perfect location

We really enjoyed our stay at this individual and tastefully refurbished apartment, perfectly located by the Old Town and Castle. We arrived late so appreciated our host’s good communication and clear instructions how to access.

Enjoyable Stay

Loved both touristy and local neighborhood feel. Very vibrant and family-oriented neighborhood. Getting up the stairway which is narrow is the only downside but if you have no problem with narrow stairways, definitely worth it!

Great location

Great central location within walking distance of all the old city. Comfy room,narrow steep steps is the only thing to consider if you are elderly or frail. The cleaning lady carried my wifes suitcase up the steps I managed ok. The room is cute spacious and had a nice view

Excellent stay in Bari

I only stayed one night and it was a very good experience. Excellent location for old town. Several nice provisions ,tea,coffee and biscuits etc left. I thought it may have been noisy but with the window shut it was silent. They were only 2 coat hangers which for one night wasn't a problem but for a longer stay could be. I would definitely book this again. Thank you.

Nice place but not a B&B

The location was fantastic. The rooms were large and comfortable. There were broken fixtures in the bathroom and a decorative “ birdseye” mirror over the sink that usually is a hall decoration as it doesn’t function as a mirror. But my main and major concern is that the place is called a bed and breakfast, but while there was a comfortable bed there was no breakfast. There was an electric tea pot, a dorm fridge and a basket of stale tea ( undrinkable) Melba toast and cookie packets with jam. The fridge was nice for fruit we bought but I specifically selected a B&B expecting breakfast. There was no staff on site.

It's nice design with stones, comfy bed and air conditioning. However the fridge was not working and the toilet didn't have the door (only curtains).

The property is near the port and has tons of restaurants around. The check in process is self check in so we didnt meet any staff. The staircase is very very small and tight. The room is nice and large though.

Neither the owner nor any staff were on the premises. I had to make an appointment to check in so somebody could be there. The Internet didn't work. I contacted the owner, but he said he wasn't around, so just wait a while and it may come on. The TV didn't have a signal because the wire was pulled out of the wall. I tried to fix it, but it still didn't work. There was a certain old-world charm to the building, but it was not maintained well. The walls were full of scuff marks, and there was one small hole in one. The pillow had a case but not a cover, so looking at it from the side, it was all stained. They advertised a continental breakfast, but it was a total joke, consisting of a small basket of toast crackers and jam in the room. No coffee, only tea bags. The spiral staircase was scary to bring a suitcase up, especially since there was no handrail to hold onto. There was a parking lot in front of the place, but I could only park there until 8:00 PM, then had to move my car because it was reserved for only the locals overnight. So I ended up parking a couple blocks away and had to keep running back to add more money to the meter. There was a playground / hangout directly in front of the hotel, and there was noise coming from it all night long. The large shampoo bottle said coconut, but it was green and didn't smell like coconut. It appeared that the owner just kept refilling it with something else. But all the main attractions in the old city were within walking distance.

Bør opplevelsen

Vi hadde et flott opphold på 2 uker. Dette ligger jo i gamlebyen som er fylt av fastboende, gamle bygg, trange gater, liv og røre i gatene. Veldig mange flott små kirker. Beliggenheter for oss var helt perfekt. Veldig koselig leilighet. Litt å utsette på hvordan ikke fikk justert A/C etter hva man ønsket selv. Ble veldig varmt på nettene, når man ikke kunne sett på kaldere, var nok en sperre der. Ettersom vi var i 2 uker så ble dette da litt utfordrene. Samme med kjøleskapet, det var veldig lite + det ble jo ikke kaldt det som var inni der, heller litt lunkent. Men, totalen av 14 uker i Bari helt utrolig bra

Obstination pour avoir mes deux lits alors que ….

Ce B&B m’offrait la possibilité de réserver une chambre avec 2 lits, ce que j’ai fait. Lorsque je suis arrivée, le propriétaire pressé au téléphone m’a dit que ce n’était pas possible alors qu’après obstination la femme de ménage a tout simplement ajouté des draps au lit simple déjà aménagé dans la chambre que j’avais réservée. C’est quoi le problème en Italie (car cela m’est arrivée 3 fois) de ne plus m’offrir la chambre à deux lits? C’est trop forçant pour la femme de ménage de préparer 2 lits au lieu de un seul ? Si vous ne voulez pas, chers propriétaires, louer des chambres à lits simples, ne les offrez pas. Les escaliers pour se rendre à la chambre sont très étroits et dangereux.
Le lit simple était là sans draps avant mon obstination pour l’utiliser.

Uitstekende locatie, uitzicht op de haven en kasteel.Om de hoek direct de oude historische binnenstad. De kamers ensuite zijn erg mooi gerestaureerd en smaakvol ingericht. Alles is schoon. Het tweede bed is echter een sofabed en zeer smal , eigenlijk alleen geschikt voor een kind. Contact met Toni, de eigenaar alleen via whatsapp, snel , vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Geen ontbijt , maar er is een waterkoker, crackers , koekjes en snacks . Er zijn veel cafe restaurantjes in de directe omgeving voor een ontbijt.Zeer ,zeer tevreden . Zeker aanbevolen.

Schöner Aufenthalt in der Altstadt

Sehr einfacher und praktischer Check-in. Ein sehr schönes und großes Zimmer in einem historischem Haus mit allem was man benötigt. Die Lage ist sehr gut. Die wichtigsten Dinge in Bari sind fußläufig zu erreichen. Für alles andere gibt es den Bus.
