If you are looking for a 5 star luxury boutique set on a private island with impeccable but not overly solicitous service look no further. Breakfast…best I’ve ever had. Reef snorkeling…unbelievable. Baros is the jewel of the Maldives celebrating 50 years but looks brand new. There’s a reason it was one of the first resorts! Ideal location and top reef. Thanks to Lala, Upsy and Hasir. See u again soon!

Where to start! I have travelled and been to many 5* hotels what I loved and found unique about the Baros hotel was the happiness and kindness of the staff. It was just such a positive happy place! I highly recommend booking the water villa and our favorite restaurant was the lighthouse. They have an amazing spa to not miss! Snorkeling there was like swimming in an aquarium so many things to see you absolutely breathtaking Overall book this hotel, I tried different ones in Maldives and this is by far my favorite one - they offer great perks for Expedia members
