“Cedrela is nestled in the mountains of Costa Rica. It was easy to navigate there. The accommodations are clean, but the standout of Cedrela is the restaurant, Al Mercat. We had a fantastic meal and ate nearly everything on the menu (advice - go with at least 5 people so you can effectively share!). ”

“Amazing and unique property. BEST STAFF ever! Food was outstanding. The property offers a beautiful beach, lovely on-property hikes, waterfall pond, a wonderful experience where the ocean meets a flowing river, lovely swimming pool and views everywhere you turn. “Katia and her staff were welcoming and friendly. Katia wears many hats as host/owner, chef, bartender and more. And she excels at it all! They work hard to accommodate any and all reasonable requests. The views from our room, the rooftop and pool areas were beautiful! Rooms were clean and a very nice size. I’d recommend you have a car rental to get around and into town. It’s walkable if you like long hilly hikes to get where you’re going. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would……

“Wonderful place near Ojochal! So beautiful. The property is really unique and the owner takes amazing care of it. Such neat touches - the bathroom is really beautiful with handmade clay features. Hot water! The owner blows off all the leaves on the walkways daily which I think must help with the fact that we had no insects. Property is super tight. Kitchen has all essentials and we were able to make meals. No monkeys seen but heard the howlers and there were tons of birds of all kinds. Lots of……

“It was amazing seeing all the different birds from their restaurant patio. I saw way more kinds of birds including two tucans from here than from the actual birds watching tours. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. Nice city view too. ”

“Tami Lodge is unique and beautiful. The hotel and cafe staff are friendly and welcoming. We had the best time and even got to play bingo with some of the people who work at the hotel at the community celebration. We had a wonderful and the views are incredible! ”

“Prepare to be swept away! My recent stay at this boutique luxury hotel was nothing short of magical. From the moment I arrived, I was enveloped in a sense of tranquility and pampered luxury. The rooms are an absolute dream – spotlessly clean and boasting a sleek, modern design. Having a private kitchen was such a treat. And the river views!
