Basmane Pet-friendly Hotel

"This is a very basic hotel in a very convenient location, alsacak and konak are a short walk. It is not a luxury property, but perfect for a clean safe place to rest after exploring. The man at the front desk is charming and helpful. A nice breakfast every morning and a clean comfortable room at night."

"Room was very clean. It was comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful. Great location for food and right near train station to get to Ephesus , which only was $2.30 US per person. 1:30 hour ride to get there ."

"I stayed together with two friends and we really enjoyed our time in the apartment. It is clean and spacious, and the owner is very attentive. The apartment is in a safe and quiet neighbourhood, and conveniently located for exploring Izmir. We would be happy to come back!"

The location of the hotel itself was the only real downside - the neighborhood was not very tourist friendly; it was dirty and we felt unwelcome in some areas close to the hotel. The hotel itself felt very safe, but this wouldn't be a place I would recommend to people hoping to just walk out the door and hit the town like others we've stayed in."
