「Place was beautiful and lived up to the name Solitude. Spent our honeymoon in perfect bliss. Great location to get away. 」

「We stayed here with our two adult children (one lives nearby) and had a wonderful stay at the property. It was as described and was easy to access. The surroundings were beautiful and peaceful. We saw a deer near the house one morning. We enjoyed using the grill and the hot tub. The host was responsive before the trip when we had questions. We would recommend the property to others. 」

「I wanted to take my kids to Luray Caverns and to explore Skyline Drive because those were good memories from my childhood. The kids (10 & 12) enjoyed both. We loved being right on the river but I'll admit the bugs were out in full force this first weekend of May. This was our first time renting a pet friendly home so we could bring our small dog and I am thrilled to say that you could not tell that other dogs had been staying there. The home was clean and did not smell at all like "dog." Thanks...

「Our stay was exactly what the doctor ordered. My partner and I were looking for a nice waterfront getaway house for the weekend and this place delivered. Only wish we could have stayed a little longer! Perfect for a couple or small family, the house had some nice perks. The outdoor decks were nice for relaxing and dinning. We didn't get a chance to use the hot tube but it did look inviting. We did put the canoes to good use though and enjoyed the riverside fire pit at night. Would definitely...

「Great property! As advertised. Quiet and cozy, perfect for disconnecting.But the real star for us was the property management. Communication was stellar. Proactive and consistent. We arrived to find an issue with the property. Sent a message via the app and got a phone call really quickly. Within 30 minutes, someone was on site quickly and efficiently correcting the issue. We received regular updates via phone and text. Definitely using them again!」

「We stayed for a long weekend following Christmas - needed to get away from the city for a bit. It's a beautiful house with a great view and good location. It was just 3 of us so the space was fine -- I am not sure I would recommend it for a larger group in winter, as you'd really be on top of each other. For the other three seasons, the deck, hot-tub, and firepit would all be great ways to spread out. Would definitely love to go back sometime in the future!」
