Hotel connect to harbour bay so easy walk to hotel even if rain. Service officers at the counters in the check in lobby were pleasant . they allow early checkin and also allowed us later check out. The housekeeping team wrote message card and present us some complimentary hi tea cakes. Lounge area and bar have good views. Nothing much at lounge area during noon.Bed are comfortable.Overall a pleasant stay.

Had a great 3-night stay at the Marriott Hotel Batam! The breakfast was absolutely fantastic—so many options and everything was fresh and delicious. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, always greeting us with a smile and making us feel welcome. The location is also excellent, convenient and close to everything we needed. The price was not cheap, but affordable. Only two reasons I’m giving 4 out of 5 stars is because the room style felt a bit dated and the faulty keyless room entrance. They promised to send an engineer to fix the issue (we almost requested to re-program the card 3-4 times every day) but they didn’t —a refresh would make this place perfect. Still, overall a very enjoyable stay and would definitely come back!

Stayed 1 night in the deluxe twin ocean view room. Very beautiful hotel . Would stay longer next round. Must swim in their pool. Infinity pool without the heavy price tag.

I would like to bring a few points into concern. First of all, when I arrived at Marriott at 9.30 I was told to await for available room, and thus I had wanted to have some juice and pain Au chocolat at the illy cafe next to counter. Not only did they forget both of these orders, I had to stand up and walk over 2 times to ask for each (because they forgot both). I only have had 2 hours sleep at that point, it was frustrating to see others have their food and drinks while we waited for 30mins without anything. When I gotten into my room, I must admit that the room looks good and I need to rest after. I was awaken up by screaming kids by the pool who were so rowdy (with music playing) that it woke me up from my sleep. It’s been very upsetting as it went on for more than 1 hour. Even after I called the concerige they said they will ask the people to quiet down but I’m not even sure if they did anything as the noise kept going on. The concerige said, “the pool is close at 8pm as well.” But I felt it was not very appropriate to advise your guest to just live with the noise until 8pm as we are paying customers too. They did help changed our room after eventually, but while it was quieter, the room we got was smaller overall. I don’t really felt it was fair overall even thought we paid more for balcony but it didn’t felt like we had any choice on the matter. There’re much more but Expedia has comment limits.

Perfect for a Getaway

Our room was upgraded to the club room and it was a surprise! Love the room (just ask for a room away from the elevator, if possible). The roof top bar is must-go for sunset. Drinks were fabulous! We also went for the ESKA spa and suggest to book in advance to avoid disappointment. Will definitely come back again.

Excellent short getaway

A good stay. First time here with my family and we took the sea view. Rooms are clean and spacious. Breakfast a good spread. Decent amount of nearby eateries and marts. Good location for a short getaway. Oh yes. Do visit the spa while here. Very shiok.

Had a few great days here, staffs were very friendly and helpful. My wife celebrated her birthday and the staffs were enthusiastically making her stay wonderful and memorable. Good for a quiet getaway of relaxation and rest.
