「House was very clean with the exception of some dust/sand on floors, even though you could not see it walking on the floors in bare feet always felt that that maybe a good washing was needed. We just swept with the broom/vacuum and it was better. But one thing that really stood out when arriving is the cement stairs dug into the hill that you needed to go down to get to the house. 「What a beautiful property! My family and I stayed for a few days to enjoy Boothbay Harbor and it was the perfect spot for our getaway. My toddler loved the open floor plan and being so close to the water. It was an ideal distance to downtown without being in the hecticness of it all. Highly recommend!!」

「Perfect for two people! Well equipped. Close to lots of hiking trails and beach. Management quickly responded to any need we had. We really enjoyed the Dolphin restaurant and Penny’s Ice Cream 」

「It was just what the doctor ordered, a month in a quiet (except for street traffic which we could not see, but could hear), wooded, seemingly remote location, that was very private. Lilac cottage is so sweet, a quintessential Maine cottage with good WiFi, 10 minutes from the great town of Bath and lots of parks and beaches. Mark was the perfect host and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. You truly feel alone, yet connected. What a place! It’s stocked with lots of water....
