Casa Selvaggio Blu

The house of Mario and Giulia. Mario Verin is the inventor of the famous trekking, author of beautiful pictures of Ogliastra. Giulia is a journalist, together they have written guides and books. There, you can browse in the library of the new house, available when they are not there.

The house is located in Santa Maria Navarrese, in front of the gardens (with playground), a stone's throw from the sea, in short, right in the center. The seaside offers a pebble beach, and two areas equipped with beach umbrella. If you prefer sand, you can reach Tancau beach with the pine forest (800 meters away on foot). For those who enjoy hiking, at the top of Via Plammas, you reach the viewpoint where the paths that go up to Monte Pittaine and Monte Oro start, along the sea to Pedra Longa, they reach Baunei. The area of the Casa Selvaggio Blu, is one of the most central in all of Santa Maria Navarrese.

The car will only serve you if you want to explore the villages in the surroundings or get to the Golgo plateau from which the wonderful excursions to reach the Cale del Golfo di Orosei depart. For the rest, you will live your vacation with flip-flops because everything is within your reach in just a few minutes on foot. The small minimarket, the fresh pasta shop, the small wine bar near your home, will allow you to buy typical and fresh products and be able to prepare them in the super-functional kitchen that Giulia has organized for you.
