South Padre Island Beach Park at Isla Blanca Hotels

"Good: beautiful property, clean, friendly and helpful staff, and Tony the bartender was great. Bad: the food truck should offer more than Mexican food, such as burgers and fries. The property seemed to have run out of many supplies, such as ice cream at the restaurant to make ice cream drinks, the pizza maker was not working at the marketplace, and there was no ink in the office printer to print guest bill summaries. The towel return was stuffed full. There needs to be better on site, hands-on management for these kinds of little things. We asked for our sink faucet handle to be repaired, but even after the repair it’s still leaked around the rim across the counter top. Again, better on-site management for this beautiful property. "

"We loved our condo! I feel like our hosts went above and beyond! We truly felt not only the love from our condo but from the whole island! We celebrated our 7th wedding anniversary this weekend and it was just amazing! The condo my husband said reminded us of my grandparents house. They were my parents growing up so staying here just felt like home away from home! We can’t wait to come back one day especially when we have a family! You all truly have won our hearts for years to come! We won’t be staying anywhere else on the island! Thank you again! "

"We decided to come down on a whim for the night just to get out to the beach and found this property on VRBO. The price was not bad for it being 4th of July weekend. The check in process was pretty simple. We were able to complete part of the check in paperwork online. Upon arrival to the office they validated and verified who I was gave us our parking and pool passes. The only issue we had with this part was the traffic getting to the office. When we arrived at the property it was clean and property was pretty much as described. It was a perfect size for our family of 3. The property had all the things we needed to make a quick dinner. The patio was nice to sit out at night but being a ground floor unit be prepared for the noise of the coming and goings of your fellow vacationers. The unit is closer to the pool and further away from the dumpster which was nice cause it was steamy out that day and I was very glad we didn’t have to catch the downwind from the trash. I liked the location beach access was pretty much a parking lot over and I enjoyed that there was a walkup bar, food truck and BATHROOMS off the walkway to the beach. Would definitely recommend to a couple or a smaller family. I would not mind booking here again for a future stay. "

"It's a nice, chill spot to stay at on the island. It's at least a mile away from most of the action, but if you have a car you can get around pretty quickly. The room was clean."
