“Loved the easy access to the pool and bar area. Just minutes walk to the beach and a great restaurant downstairs. We never had to leave and nice friendly staff. The only negative thing was the bathroom tub had rusted areas in it, might need to update a few things like that in the rooms.”

My only gripe I wasat the restaurant and ordered the drink of the day for which I was charged. When I received my food there was no drink. I pointed it out to the server who seemed annoyed and brought me a beer. I didn't want to annoy him further and excepted the beer. Even though the drink I purchased was more than the beer. “There was some dog treats in restroom floor that housekeeping missed. The bed sheets had some very visible stains (should be replaced). One of the bed’s frame was loose. No laundry on site. parking on hotel parking lot was $7 additional fee.”

“The property is super old and not maintained or cleaned. The rooms have old carpets. Dirty tub, old furniture and valcony sliding door and main room door wouldn't even close. The reservation said it was beach view and when we got there staff informed us they only have partial beach view rooms. Defenitly not worth the money to stay at this ghetto resort.”

We usually would stay at La Copa Inn but this time Peninsula had a better price so we decided to give it a try. We got the double deluxe with partial sea view. All I can say is our stay here was the best experience by far. The pool is actually warm and peaceful compared to La Copa (kids pool) is cold & always very packed! “We wanted a quick getaway to the island but didn’t want to be at a hotel with kids all around. We picked here because of the adults only, and we loved the vibe! Very laid back, relaxing. The pool is super cute, and clean, and the bar was great. Food was good too, there was a live band, and we enjoyed that. The rooms was very simple, bed, small table and chairs, Nothing fancy. Bed was comfy. I wish they had a full body mirror. The beach is super close by and the beach access is great with……

“Nice place to sleep. I did not personally spend much time there but the pool looked nice and clean just a bit small. There were also NO ELEVATORS. It is only 2 floors but keep that in mind if you plan on bringing groceries or other large items.”

“It was a great stay, very clean, and the staff was helpful. Breakfast was good. The property is older, the elevator is permanently out of order and the pool area needs some upgrades but it was fairly well maintained overall.”
