「Room was nice,individual and very comfortable. Breakfast was great but my Sunday lunch beef was a bit tough but I think it was one of the last portions to be served. Everything else was really good.」

「Clean room good breakfast Room had no window to look out of only sky light. Shower only, broken shower holder so had to hold with one hand while showering. No extractor fan in toilet and no window tried to change room but non available glad it was only 2 nights」

「Beautiful view from bedrooms across to Bamburgh and the ocean. Scenic and easy drive to castle and fantastic beach. Convenient for driving across the Causeway to Lindisfarne Island. Spacious bedroom and bathroom. Friendly, helpful staff. Great breakfast. Bright and airy restaurant with dinner service daily. Also, a twenty four hour cafe serving snacks and hot meals. Plenty of parking space. Easy to find.」

「A thoroughly enjoyable stay. We were in room 3 which had a challenging set of stairs, no lift due to nature of the historic building. Very atmospheric place bang in the middle of the town great access on foot to all amenities. A 10 minute stroll to the Castle and the excellent car park. Breakfast was first class value. 「The pictures on the site do not represent the reality of this hotel. It’s currently very run down and in need of lots of work. We stayed for 3 nights, we only had 3 towels and although we asked for more twice, were not given any and they weren’t changed during our stay. The bathroom looked new but unfinished. There was nowhere to put shampoo etc. in the shower, the floor was slippy (I bought a rubber mat for them) the toilet flush was dodgy and neither the fan or light above the mirror worked....
