“Bring extra towels, disposable cups, cleenex, if big family, extra roll of toilet paper. Property may need maintenance on ceptic tank, bad order coming from pipes.”

“I hate to give such a bad review. My family began staying at the Goldmine Lodge in the early 1990s, so it had some nostalgic value. This weekend was the first time since 2007, and the property is really run-down. The wall heater didn't work, and the BBQs were rusted out and unusable. Most of the switches didn't work, and the kitchen window was broken.”

“The drainage of the bathtub is not very smooth, and water drains slowly.”

“Big Bear Lake was a great getaway for our much needed family vacation. Our cabin was very cozy and charming. We had all the amenities we needed. Great location. Close to the Lake, hiking, shopping, & dining. ”

“The location of this house is very convenient. The house was decently clean though extremely dated, but there were maintenance issues- chips and stains on the bathroom paint, a garbage disposal that has to have the cap in at all times or it smells like rotten broccoli, making that side of the sink largely unusable, missing drawer pulls on a dresser. The beds were fairly comfortable and there were plenty of them, but the sheets and pillows are extremely cheap, so don't expect much of them.……

“There was a mouse in the cabin, we called for support ,maintenance was sent and placed glue traps behind the stove. Not the experience I was expecting for my husband’s birthday weekend. we actually only slept at cabin one night instead of two that were paid off due to this inconvenience.”

“Overall wonderful. Check-out time was too early at 1000 am.”

“The furniture was very dusty including tv console and plants everything was as if it hadn’t been cleaned in years. Very cracking screeching floors and old stained carpets. Unfortunately it was very dated all the furniture was run down. Couches were uncomfortable and old. Bed was uneven and just overall very poorly kept.”

“The property was not as advertised. - cobwebs everywhere! Upon entry, I walked into multiple cobwebs. The place was dusty and looked like it had not been cleaned in a very long time. - both patio decks were filthy. They were so dirty that they were unusable. Especially the grill. - The house was extremely hot! Both upstairs and downstairs were like a furnace. Even with opening doors and windows, it was an oven. Do not come here, especially in the summer. -Towels were dirty with dust marks on……
