“The dirt and gravel path that leads to the cabin was a little rugged, but was only a minor hiccup. This place has all the necessities and is perfect for 1-2 people. The 2nd floor loft contains the bedroom that can only be accessed through a ladder. The host offers basic amenities (functional bathroom, kitchen supplies, etc.) and can supply more if you reach out. They also give suggested nearby attractions, including some of their own farm animals.We had a great stay at this remote location and……

“Beautiful home, peaceful surroundings. We didnt hear traffic or other humans. It was peaceful sitting on the front porch. Will definitely rest here again if find ourselves in the area.”

“Our stay at the Chestnut Loft was exactly what we wanted it to be: quiet, comfortable, clean, relaxing, and easy to get to. The hosts were easy to contact and responded quickly. They created such a pleasant and peaceful experience! The only downside was most shops being closed on Sundays and Mondays. Other than that, we really enjoyed our long weekend and exploring nearby Lewisburg.”

“We had great communication with Jena! The house was spotless when we walked in. We were doing a couple days at Knoebels which was 35 mins away. House is close to many restaurants and stores and on a road that seemed to have many people walking or jogging. The campfire area near the water was beautiful! I would only suggest maybe a few more/better pots and pans. There is a regional airport very close which had helicopters and small planes coming and going throughout the day but after dark it was……

“First, the place is represented well as described and pictured. Great kitchen and sleeping arrangements, plenty of room. Communication with the property management company was inconsistant. Here are the issues stand out. First, the Google Maps link sent from the company directed us to the wrong place and had to ask those owners where the VRBO place was. Second, as others have said, wifi is spotty and slow inside the house. Third, we had requested early on to have some additional firewood……

“This was such a cozy little cabin with all the basics. It easily fit our family of 6. The campground it is located on is dated, but so much fun. We did an hayride, used the playground, went mini golfing, and walked the haunted trail. Our whole family enjoyed the stay. ”

“I'm a semi avid VRBO user and this host was amazing for accomodations. I only needed a place to shower or stay, I'm even somewhat local to the area but I wished I had a longer weekend because the accomodations we're 11/10. It's everything you need and then some.”

“Great set up for our little weekend getaway. Back porch was great to listen to the little stream flowing and the birds chirping while I drank my morning coffee. Wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the peace :) Be sure to drive in town and check out Milroy OIP- good food at reasonable price and check out Smoke House Bar and Grill- the loaded potatoes are yummy!”
