It was soo noise, the rooms next to me the people were staying in there we’re fighting all the time 24/7 I couldn’t even sleep at all I complained a lot to the staff but nothing was done. It was scary they were breaking stuff in the room hitting each other yelling.

We stayed at a pool facing duplex at this 4 star hotel in Khaldeh, Lebanon, this past summer (2023). We paid $450 per night. Overall, the view from my room was great and the overall service was acceptable. However, my friends, who came around the same time and stayed in a 5-star hotel in Beirut, paid around the same price I paid for this 4-star hotel. Positive things include the nice view, the quality of the food, and the politeness of the staff. On the negative side, my $450/night room did NOT have a shower curtain (the bathroom turned into a swimming pool whenever we took a shower) and the lack of a safe in the room. I asked about the shower curtain and I was told that all duplex rooms have the same problem because the bathrooms are too small. I was advised to go shower in the public shower (instead of my $450/night room) if I am annoyed by this situation. The food at their restaurant was very good. I (and my family) used the restaurant heavily during my stay. I even invited my family one night with a bill (including tips) north of $700. We always generously tipped all the workers. However, whenever I called for a service from the restaurant I was "pennied and dimmed" about the little things. The resort itself is clean and well maintained however the surrounding area, until you reach the entrance, is rough and ghettoish. I personally would go back to that hotel/resort but I don't think my wife would approve that.

Well I went to Lebanon for a visit after being away for over 16 years and wanted to enjoy my vacation and my family there!! This hotel made it a HELL of a visit! Some stuff were extremely rude and unfriendly! Wasn't allowed to bring my own home made food cooked by my family! Fruits were denied!! I felt like I am prisoned!! Too much unnecessary rules! I used to argue with the staff in order to get clean towels!! Besides, they made me feel ashamed when one of the securities tried to charge my sister in order to come for a short visit and she was bringing some fruits with her as a gift and they kept it at the front desk and didn't allowed her to take it up to my room! Furthermore, you can hear easily the other guest in other rooms and some they were loud partying until 4:30am!!Overall, they ruined my vacation!!

the place is very unorganized. i had to ask to get my room cleaned. there was no towels in the room when I walked in. The WIFI service was terrible. Nobody answers the phone. the staff were helpful but too busy. there are no signs anywhere around the property to guide the guests.

I believe the staff and the management needs more training and education about diversity and how to respect guests from different backgrounds, I stayed in this resort for 2 days with my wife who is wearing hijab and they didn't allow her to get in the pool as we learned that they did have a policy that you cannot swim with Burkini even though it is an official swimwear in the most European countries and even in the US.( and they didn't allow us to cancel and refund the 2nd day). on the Second day we were laying down around the pool and my wife was wearing a pool dress and a guy asked for my wife to leave as they don't allow clothes around the pool even though there was another person with a dress but without hijab but it was okay for them ,which is clearly not a policy and cannot be applied in any pool in the world So I asked him to call his manager which was very ignorant and don't know his own rules and made fool of himself and left without proving a point or apologizing, this was clearly a discrimination. last day on the check out the receptionist called the manager and she tried to prove that it is a policy but she couldn't either and started apologizing for their behavior after ruined 2 days out of 4 days vacation and they are not willing to change this Burkini policy or their behavior. Other than that I think the property landscape and location is very unique and nice but needs a better management or just put a policy that "WE DON'T ALLOW HIJAB"

La Siesta Hotel Beirut - Avoid at all costs!
Horrible experience. Rooms were not ready and dirty. Zero amenities and especially not family friendly. They give you a kettle but no tea or coffee despite their promises to deliver some. You get served tea in the Restuarant in paper cups. We arrived at 9pm way past the regular check-in time and were shocked to find the rooms not ready. We even found a mop and other cleaning materials in the room. When we complained, we were told that we should have told them we are coming!!! They already confirmed the booking, took the money and sent us emails. Wondering how they managed to get an 8/10 rating, which made us book here. This is one to avoid at all costs. I wonder why Hotels.com did not inform their property manager as we put in a review immediately. Not one person came to speak to us.

The staff were coordinating transportation from airport 2 weeks prior to our arrival, they followed up 3 days prior to the trip to see if any changes were made, they made last minute adjustments without any hassles. The concierge person, Rana was a delight, she was so helpful and kind. The entire check in-check out process was a breeze. Since it was off season, they accommodated our late check in and check out. Overall, an amazing experience and I'm definitely going back.

My stay at this hotel was one that experienced extreme helpfulness and kindness from every worker I met. This extends from the front desk, all the way to the bartenders that I met. Everyone was very hospitable and jumped at any chance to assist me. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and if I am in the area again I would 100% choose to stay here again.

Disappointing Service
My stay was surprisingly bad - I checked out a night earlier due to disappointing service. I had another booking for the following week, I was promised better service and a free upgrade. Neither did happen and again I ended up checking out a night earlier than suppose to.

NICE PLACE .UNABLE TO SWIM IN THE SEA DUE TO POLLUTION. SEEMS TO BE A BIG PROBLEM IN LEBANON. CHALETS GOOD BUT NO CROCKERY OR CUTLERY EVEN NO WNE OR DRINKING GLASSES. HAVE TO BRING YOUR OWN. STRANGE SYSTEM. THE AFRICAN CLEANERS OR TERRIBLE,DONT WANT TO HELP UNLESS YOU GIVE THEM A TIP. CONSANTLY ASKING FOR ITEMS,TISSUE,SHEETS ,ETC BUT NO RESPONSE.GOT FED UP OF ASKING IN THE END,\. BREAKFAST TIME IS TERRIBLE.SHOCKING SERVICE ,HAD TO COMPLAIN TO THE MANAGER TO GET A COFFE OR FOOD. What a low-key and relaxing place to stay on the beach outside the far reaches of Beiruti traffic and noise. AC, sink, fridge and microwave in room. Great restaurant.Free breakfast. An “under-the-radar” gem. Visit Saysh Hassoun simple fish taverna 1km south.

The place was empty maybe because of the time of year. The staff is very friendly and makes an effort to assist. They don’t have irons in the room, this was an issue for me but they offered to do the service for me. The internet is very slow, not good and should be fixed, specially for business travelers.

Fantastic surprise! Free upgrade to a large suite
The reason we chose La Siesta was because of proximity to the airport. We were coming in late, staying a day and leaving early. It sounded nice and the pictures looked great so we reserved it. The place was absolutely beautiful looking like it has just been redone. Everything was new! Being off season there were not many there but they treated us like royalty. The breakfast was first class and the food in the restaurant was delicious. And the Manager, George was just like an old friend, he was the kindest and most attentive manager we've had for a very long time! I give La Siesta a top rating and will go back whenever possible.

Amazing stay!!
Amazing stay at La Siesta, the sea view rooms area amazing, comfortable, clean and lovely ambience. Shame that we stayed for one night only, should have spent a whole week there. I'm definitely coming back soon. The service was outstanding from the manager who made us very comfortable. Complimentary fruit platter with good choice if sweet fruits. Given that our flight was at early in the morning and our booking included breakfast and started at 7am, the manager went out of his way and get us breakfast in our rooms for 4am in morning. Thank you very much. Shall see you again very soon.
