The hotel staff is always available from unpacking your car and delivery your luggage on arrival to picking your luggage and packing your car back during departure. The service is incredible. The restaurant and bar are good with the variety of choices. "

"A Magical and Heartwarming Stay at Relais Casali della Cisterna We originally planned to stay for just one night, and ended up staying for two, simply because we couldn’t leave! Relais Casali della Cisterna is a truly special place, elegant, peaceful, and full of warmth. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine kindness. The hosts, Simona and Alberto, went above and beyond to make our stay perfect, offering great local tips, and always making us feel at home. Our room was beautifully designed, spacious, and spotless, with breathtaking views of Lake Maggiore. Waking up to the view of the lake from our balcony was unforgettable. The gardens surrounding the villa are lush and peaceful, perfect for relaxing walks or a quiet coffee in the morning sun. Breakfast was excellent, fresh pastries, fruit, local cheeses, and eggs made to order. It’s one of those places where every detail feels cared for. The location is also great, just a few minutes’ drive from Stresa and Belgirate, close enough to explore but quiet enough to feel completely away from it all. We’ve stayed in many places across Europe, but this one really stands out for its charm, authenticity, and the warmth of its hosts. We left with a full heart and wonderful memories. Highly recommended, and we’ll definitely be back!"

"Laura and Davide’s home in the peaceful village of Calogna nestled in the hills overlooking Lake Maggiore is truly fabulous. If you’re looking for a property where you are able to step off the treadmill of daily life, rest and recharge, then this house is definitely the one for you.Vrbo’s description and pictures of Casa Gardenghi are accurate but it is even better in reality.This beautiful home lacked nothing, tastefully decorated, comfortable furnishings, large peaceful garden and a ‘dipping pool’ ideal for cooling off on hot days. The views of the lake are stunning from the terrace, balcony, lounge and dining room picture window.If you are lucky enough to stay here, don’t miss the treat of rising early one morning to catch the sunrise over the mountains on the eastern shore of the lake.Thank you Laura and Davide for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home and for the warm welcome on our arrival.We would love to return and stay longer next time."

"This house had many nice features, including the very large room size. The living room, dining room, patio and bedrooms were airy and comfortable.The deck overlooking the train and lake was very nice and we used it most evenings. The trains are pretty quiet and didn't bother us at all, in fact we kind of enjoyed them. Belgirate had a few good restaurants and a nice walk along the river although we stayed there for its proximity to Stresa which is an active town with many restaurants and shopping. The only downsides to the house included the paucity of supplies for the kitchen and bathroom. There were no dish towels or paper towels in the kitchen, there was no effective working coffeemaker ( a MUST for our family), not many coffee cups and we were provided a tiny little container of dish soap and one dishwasher pod. Likewise for the bathroom no soap or kleenex and only ONE roll of toilet paper.I feel these small issues could be easily remedied for about 50 and I would give this house a higher review."
