「The hosts were welcoming and quick to answer our questions and concerns. The fishing was fun and productive. The house was well stocked with all that we needed. Our stay was a comfortable quiet one. We enjoyed the visit.」

「For once a brochure did not do a property justice. Had six adults and three small children stay with plenty of room for everyone. The view was beautiful, the dock very nice (about 4 feet of water toward the end), and the house itself just perfect. We will definitely return since the area was peaceful and just what we were looking for. We are going to miss our morning coffee on the back porch! 」

「The owners have done amazing work on this property. This was a very comfortable older home. Everything was nice and clean and well cared for. The kitchen had really nice dishes and equipment, which is not always the case with short term rentals. Don't even get me started about the sheets, I took a picture of the tag because I need them in my life!!! I would absolutely stay here again. My only regret is we did not have more time to explore the downtown area of Washington.」

The only thing missing was drinking water but luckliy we brought a case of bottled water. The house is in remote location in a quiet neighborhood. It's a perfect getaway from city life. We were 5 mintues from the Aurora Ferry. We took advantage of that and got to see Bath, Bellhaven and Washington across the Pamlico...
