"This is the perfect little house for a small family! It was clean. The host was very responsive. It’s in a great location with a very easy walk to the beach, coffee shop, and bait shop! There’s also a restaurant within walking distance. The kitchen was well stocked with plenty of cookware. My only regret was not taking advantage of the kayaks! "

"House had excellent views. Could have used a TV in the bed rooms. Also the water connection on the bottom floor should be fixed. Going upstairs to turn on/off water must be wasting a lot of water. As most people would not do it. Person who maintains the jacuzzi should look at proper chemicals balance. One night use only. Felt like fabric soften all over us. Would have been overall 5 if not for these things. "

"The house was well maintained, clean, nicely decorated. The kitchen was as well-equipped as we have seen. Nice location, good sunset views, protected from the fierce N winds we had due to a passing nor'easter. There is a fairly small grassy area for rigging sailing equipment. The entire under house area is paved."

"This house has us coming back for more. It’s been quite a while since we’ve been able to get away for a week of fishing and relaxing, but we were so glad to see this was available this year. The weather was not cooperative, as we arrived the day before the Nor’easter hit, and just after the super moon. Roads were closed off and on, the surf was more than rough and the winds were mighty. Though our fishing trip turned into a stay put and relax week, this house was the perfect spot to do so. Once the skies cleared, it was still flooding and gusty, but the sunset over the sound was sensational. The kitchen had everything we needed to make breakfast, lunch and dinner and Food Lion was just a short ride. Thank you Dan for sharing this beauty with us. We highly recommend it for any occasion. "This is overall a great cottage. It is well-maintained and comfortable. I really liked how the surrounding trees blocked the views so it felt more private and peaceful. Be aware that since this is a dog friendly home, the sofa did smell a bit like wet dog and had a decent amount of dog hair. Luckily I had a quilt to lay over the sofa while we used it. And although the kitchen is nice, it is very minimally stocked. There wasn't even a strainer for draining pasta or rinsing fruit. So bring a lot of kitchen supplies if you plan on cooking a lot. I would definitely stay here again and would just pack supplies accordingly."
